I didn't hear any information about Vertin's mom in Chinese. But there is a noname character who looks like Vertin in this PV.

@@dollenstar5680 Yes, I was referring to that Vertin-lookalike character. The devs addressed that it would be like 1.1 and 1.3 where Vertin is basically absent from the story. Considering how far back the setting is, I think it may take place before Vertin was born, and that that Vertin lookalike was an earlier investigator of the Foundation (or a its prototype) who was sent to seek for the "Eastern Arcanum". Together with Little Yenisei (which could be a local guide), she arrived at Jiu Niangzi's wine shop after the horse transformation and kidnapping incident. Maybe then she gets the inspiration for the name Vertin from the dialogue with Jiu Niangzi about what the latter should write on her wine shop. But these are just a guess .😋
Yes， the devs said it would be a no-Vertin version like 1.1. They called it 'The Past Story'. In terms of that Vertin-lookalike character, as far as I can see, there was almost no mention in the live tonight. But I guess, she might be a special character as the last scene shows.@@user-kh6qf4jf9p

Oh, wow, another Russian character? And new skin and story for Zima? I feel like I've never encountered so much positive representation of my people in foreign media, I'm flattered and plan to spend more money on the game. 🤗
On the new Russian character (Little Yenisei), if I understand her kit correctly, I think she would be an awesome survival 5* character as well. Her Ult gives control immunity and shield to all members of the party, and her heal (even though single target) gives sturdiness and procs twice for the party member with the lowest HP. She's really good.

@pepsodon no, definitely not. Even if she was, you should avoid her. Her whole backstory is about her being molested as a child. Now she goes around killing and eating abusive fathers. Her design is cute, but she is a monster.

Seems they only mention update on past Skine, with new voice line depends on the costume worn, and new skill animation like the new garments have very different animation effects. Probably they will rerelease those past garments

@@soulghoul3234 Jiu Niangzi. But don't worry her banner stay along patch 1.6 which is 1/11 - 2/22 (while Gentian, the bird man, banner from 2/1 - 2/22) there's also free 30 pulls, 10 for her banner alone, 20 from usual log in rewards
And for additional information, because I'm really excited, Jiu Niangzhi has L2D splash art and lobby log in animation

CN is 4 patches ahead of global my friend, this will come to global 4oatches later in 1.6 , we are on 1.2 right now

it seems that this version's plot doesn't have vertin in it which means it might be separate from the main story and can be watched out of order, is it possible that global server is getting this version update at the same time as chinese server?
If that happen the event after this is this event before shamane/Blackdwarf, since chinese new year on feb 10, idt they will do that lol since these characters the same elements as shamane/blackdwarf and better units than them. Pretty sure they will just follow the chinese server updates order and just gives login bonus like these christmas and new year login bonus
