All I needed to hear is "this is dangerous" to know that I need one.

I met Chris and his Roadrunner earlier this summer at a group ride . Dude had the most underrated PEV in the whole group. In a sea of modded surrons, his “little” RR had a lot of attention 👍
Can’t recommend this scooter enough, you have to see it in person to really appreciate it.

I have a Road Runner Pro myself this thing is definitely the equivalent of a 125cc street bike only it's about half the weight of a Honda Grom and yes level 5 is dangerous.

From what I'm reading, you can program the launch and top speed settings so it doesn't lurch forward like that when you touch the throttle.

I was so happy with my Nami Klima but this went on sale and I bought it. I would trade my Klima for a second one of these if I could because my son wants nothing to do with the scooter after we received this thing. The Klima is superb but I'd rather sit.

@@jerichogadiano8096 I’m still saving up Ill probably get the Talaria because of the torque but I still like RRPro too. I would get both if I could but if you have the extra money the XXX is worth it.🤑

What makes this legal to drive around?

    • @veritastudios1087

I guess because it's in the "seated scooter" category. It's not exactly a bike since it's not sized to a bike sizing and wheels aren't big enough. If you look at a decked out standing scooter with a seat..it's practically the same. Only difference is the middle body frame obviously. But it's categorized as a "seated scooter"....I mean some would just call it an elective mini bike...but technically it's not. There's certain factors mini bikes have and this doesn't have those specific factors. Yes it can go above 20 mph when unlocked. But it's stock 20 mph...which is probably the main component that makes it scooter and no insurance needed legal. Since all things that are 20 mph stock don't need an insurance plan put on it and a license plate. Technically there's tons of other drivable ebikes that can go 50 mph too but the companies do a speed lock on them so they don't go above a certain limit. They do that for a few reasons. Mainly so they can cheap out on the battery...since faster speeds equals more power used...just like gas cars...the faster you go the more gas that's used. So technically it's sold as a 20 mph seated scooter. And yes technically it can be unlocked to go much much faster...which I'm sure is the small technicality that isn't being strongly scrutinized by the law currently. Since I mean these things are flying off the shelf and I've been seeing so many vlog videos on this of riders in New York. Which has some pretty strict laws on this stuff.
