Starting a new business is challenging but fun. I wanted to share some of the fun part with you guys. I'm excited to share the branding for my repo business with you all.

If that truck has some weird looking parts removed off the side of the engine it’s probably really loud at night when it’s quiet outside. I would put a couple extra mufflers on there.

Like the name and why, however you need to be stealthy. I feel putting the name on the doors is alerting everyone who and why your there. Neighbors, friends may notify the owners. Know what I mean? If it's a law you have to put the name on I would make it small as possible..you could also ghost paint it with an air brush. Good luck and I wish you the best! Be safe! .
Some can be quite militant of having property repossessed. Be extremely careful, I'm sure you will be okay , but I have heard of horrible things when some weren't too friendly with a repossession company. Best wishes!
I had to call a lender 20 years ago and tell them to come pick up their truck. I couldn’t afford to keep it. People will be mad at you but they shouldn’t be. If you can’t pay you can’t keep the vehicle.
Im surprised you didn't stick with the Velox 18 brand. Then in the future you can expand your recovery business with a wrecker and then get bavk into hauling as well. Diversified biz!😉
Saw an article stating that Toyota finance and Wells Fargo are paying bonuses of $400 and $500 respectively to prioritize their vehicles for repossession

Never been in the business, but if I did go into that line of work, I’d familiarize myself with the various police departments that you’ll be working in. Maybe go in and introduce yourself to the respective liaison officer.

All the recovery trucks I’ve seen are unmarked in fact having an eye for work trucks that’s how you have an idea of what they are. Why would you want to tip off someone that your looking for their car?
Most people are way over extended financially ( gotta have that overpriced whatever ) I've never bought a new vehicle (I'm 73 ) it's just silly . At 18 I went to work at a Pontiac dealer and found out from a old salesman that the dealer paid 2200 for a 4800 sticker price Bonneville etc. (There's a sucker born every minute) . Just sayin'

You are not taking advantage. You are putting food on your table! I have done repos and without guys like you car prices would climb higher and higher! Plus you are actually making the roads safer. 80~90% of the time someone hiding a car typically has no insurance, and usually neglecting the maintenance. Which becomes a big problem when you tire flys off the car. It was always a given if i was skip tracing a car if or when i found it it usually had 3 bald a$$ tires and a donut! I had one dude who had 4 donuts and 2 didn’t even fit the car properly. He puts everyone’s life in danger!! I will never forget the time i had one psycho flip cause he left his garage door wide open so i was gonna hook and book but he was to fast and lit his own car on fire! At which point i dropped the car pulled 60-70 feet up and called the coos. So this Dumb @$$ lost his car his home and his freedom cause the garage was under his house!!!! Debtor even tried to file a lawsuit from jail!
Pretty good name, had a biz that did that for a decade or so among other things, does well in good times and bad no quiet times really. I think you guys have different rules than here, you just find the car & take it from memory. Sundays are golden, most of society goes home for dinner Sunday nights.
