I agree with Joon. Visiting the DMZ is something a tourist should do when in Korea. I was there this summer. I also walked the third tunnel. I know how exhausting it is to walk back up. And after that walking up to the observatory in the heat was very difficult. But I would absolutely do it again.

WOW The DMZ Tour is AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! First time I saw North Korea from the perspective of a civilian/youtuber and not from a documentary film.
When I saw Roa running, I thought that the way she ran was very athletic.
I was right though, she got it from Joon. Joon is also very athletic when he has retrieving Linda's ticket plus he trained in the Military...just like me.

It makes my heart happy to see Roa going to school with a big smile on her face. I'm sure she is learning so much! Also, you probably are already considering piano lessons for her? She seemed very into it. It could open up a whole new world for her. About the DMZ tour- I'm so glad to watch this. I am (finally) visiting SK and Japan with a tour group in April. The DMZ tour is an optional excursion. The tour description says "Travelers will need to walk down a steep slope for half a mile. There is no elevator to enter the tunnel. This excursion is not recommended for travelers who are claustrophobic." Very useful information in making my decision not to go. So thank you for bringing me along on the Kwon guided tour! Just curious how much it cost for everything you did/saw? (to compare with the tour group price) Great Video! By the way, did I hear Markus using a bit of Korean when he answered "yes?" 😉

My dream is to one day visit the Demilitarized Zone in Korea. But non of my kids want to come with me! I visited the DDR when I was a teenager and that was an experience! Once again brillant videos Linda and Joon and hope mum and Marcus are having an amazing time in Korea!
