I just commented this on an old video of yours where you were having a particularly rough migraine day but I wanted you to see it here too. Just so you know ❤
My mom suffers from a rare type of paraplegic migraines which render her unconscious and then when she regains consciousness she is completely paralyzed until the migraine subsides with the effects lasting up to 2 weeks (vocal cords always the last to come back).
The biggest thing she struggles with is being a burden and I know you get told this and know it to be true, but sometimes it's nice to hear; your struggles are not a burden to those that care about you. While an internet following isn't the most involved and definitely a more one sided relationship you still have a lot of people that care about you.
The fact that you still put out content and maintain a full time job is remarkable. No one would ever fault you for taking a few personal health days even for 15 days of foundation.

Ashlynne Banks I totally agree. My daughter suffers from migraine headaches also and has headaches daily. She is so much like Taylor and has such a strong work ethic which is great. But I just think that if they need to take a break they should & everyone will be supportive or at least should be (my daughter has her step mom as a manager so she's afraid to call off even with the worst of migraines(I hate that).But we are all here for you Taylor. Ashlynne Banks it is remarkable! alot of youtubers like cosmoholics anonymous etc bitch and complain about doing videos and this is there full time job and they only put out two videos a week!!! so this showed me that taylor has amazing work ethic and truly cares about us while other youtubers just are in it for the money and are lazy.

Omg I have done this since I was a kid playing in my moms makeup!!! Way before TH-cam id pretend I was like the food network shows and explain my make up application process 😂😝
I use it in 113 and it works nicely on me. I do have normal to dry skin with no acne. No break outs for me and lasts me 10 hrs perfectly IF I am not under the sun all day. I have tried Koh gen do skincare and it made me breakout. I also wear the white base from them and it helps my foundation set better. Again, like you say, it works differently for everybody.
I'mvery happy this series of 15 days of foundation aligned with my exam period. Gives me something to look forward to after a day of studying
I was wondering why my insomnia was a little worse than usual...hadn't watched today's foundation video. Torn between wanting 15 days of foundation to be every day and worried about overworking your face and wanting to be sure a foundation won't decide to suddenly end your youtube days. Love ya!

Ugh I mean this in the kindest way but I want her to get in Acutune so bad 😫 she deserves to see her skin look its best especially with makeup on! It would make the world of difference for her. I'm a makeup freak and I swear all my foundations live up to their claims now since I've been on it. Yes, side effects can be a bummer but their not that bad and your new skin will make you wonder why you didn't go on it any sooner! Love all her videos ❤️
Im telling you Meow Cosmetics mineral foundation! I have been wearing it for years, and i have fairly oily skin. I am also a major Pale princess like you cant believe and they have shdes and coveragle levels for EVERY GIRL!!!!! I LOVE IT!!! cant wait for day 13 ;-)
Thank you for reviewing this, been debating on this for a long time. It looks great on you but the coverage can be an issue. And it's like 37 dollars in Asia I'm hesitant to pay 62 plus tax in US.
A good foundation looks good up close, not just far away
This is an oddly specific question, but how do u apply ur powder? Do you sweep it over or press it in ur face?
Some powders when you sweep it on with a fluffy brush make the hairs on your face stand up funny and create extra texture in the foundation as it wears. I know for sure the Laura merceir powder is meant to be "rolled" into the skin, not "brushes" and I took a master class with them and was told brushing it on can ruin the look of a lighter coverage foundation underneath.
Not to be overly critical as I love you and this series and all you post!
I only have one recommendation, or advice regarding your eyebrows: that grayish color of the tint doesn't compliment your eye or skin color. I think you would look better with a cool toned darker brown, and using the microblading technique. ☺
I am also thinking about doing that, since my eyebrows are not full. They're not bad, I would just like them to be more visible.

Like someone already mentioned maybe isnt compatible with your primer or powder i got acne prone n this is my holy grail but i use 213 got green undertones blends flawlessly into my skin but i dont use a primer with it i could swear helps with my acne once i take it off my skin looks radiant n my pores smaller n if i set it i use maybelline better skin powder n it lasted till the next day (yep slept with makeup on lol) didnt break up my whole skin looked even still amazing btw if u wanna give it a try again buy a sample set at the koh gen do website to test the 213 i wonder if that will work better for u as too pink or too yellow foundations dont work for u i tell u this cuz we r the same skin tone but u seem to have a hard time with the undertones of foundations hope that helps :)

Have you tried using the Wet n Wild Photo Focus again with a powder or mixing it with something else? I remember you said you would try it out again to see if you got different results. I wanted to purchase it to wear for my sisters wedding in 3 weeks. I have to take a lot of pictures so I'm torn between not wanting to be hella oily, but also not wanting to look washed out in her wedding photos with a super matte foundation :(

TO be honest, Laura Mercier isn't the best primer. I would've used TooFaced primer instead.

not even going to lie, as soon as she said what's this product was from, I knew the coverage was going to be light af. Asians seem to typically have some beautiful clear skin (that might just be stereotypical). They don't seem to need a ton of coverage

Me: I'm looking for a lightweight foundation. Coverage should be medium to full. I prefer a satin finish but I'll also accept matte. My skin is dry but I need a formula that doesn't emphasize t-zone oil. I like thick consistency. It should last a minimum of 12 hours and not oxidize. I do have a foundation brush but I prefer to use a beauty blender. Would be great if the coverage was buildable. Thanks!

Amy Anderson yes, I used it for about four days. Plus u get 3 shades so u can find the one that matches you or comes close. The type of primer you use with it will make it or break it for you

Perhaps it's pulling because it's a water based foundation and maybe it's not compatible with your primer?

Just fyi Gen is pronounced with a hard G, like in golf. It looked so beautiful when first applied! I wonder if it was interacting with the primer strangely considering it's a water-based foundation.

It's neither piling not pilling - it's called pooling, and it's when the foundation slides off the flatter areas of the skin and gathers in little pools in the pores. This means the foundation adheres better to itself than to the skin underneath. I have normal/dry, sensitive skin, and the KGD foundation is one of my favourites, BUT it's because I need little coverage - I wouldn't advice building this one up, as it then slides around more. Also: I feel I REALLY need to set the foundation with powder, of it will slide around during the day. If I set it, it lasts much better on me, but again: I use only 1 pump for my entire face
My reasons for liking it:
- no adverse skin reactions
- very natural coverage
- comfortable on my skin
- hides flakiness, unlike most other foundations
- one of the rare foundations that match my very yellow skin perfectly
- lasts well on me (I used it for my wedding, and I still looked good after 12 hours), but if you prefer things like MAC Pro-Longwear, Revelon Colorstay, Lancome Teint Idole Ultra 24 H, Guerlain Parfure Gold, Shiseido Sun Protection Liquid foundation or Dior Forever, this cannot really compare to those
