Tee Higgins must be their primary objective this off-season besides offensive line improvements. Yes he’s had trouble with injuries the last 2 years. But he adds so much length/catchability/ and range to a receiving group that doesn’t have any. He’s played like a WR1 when Jamarr has been out, he showed up in the Bengals Super Bowl appearance and had two Touchdowns. Great character guy and can become an even better weapon with someone as mobile as Drake. He walks in and is WR1 Day ONE.
@@willthomas2310 he is the best player in the draft by far so you would only be pissed until you watch him play he is a can’t miss prospect, this years Brock Bowers he is idiot proof. If you don’t think the running back position makes a difference. Go watch the best offenses in the NFL and tell me which one does not have a dominant RB. The Lions The Eagles Baltimore even the Dolphins and Buffalo they all have excellent running backs
I don’t think these guys understand that simply drafting an O Lineman in the top 10 won’t fix our problems. This isn’t a great year for o-line (LT especially) and reaching for yet another development player won’t make us any better.
They've put themselves in the position where it's now imperative that they do draft OT early (and maybe often) WRs do them nothing at all if they can't protect and it's realistically a year before even the blue chip OT are ready these days, so we can't keep kicking that can down the road.

@NeonSmlr I don't think you understand that it starts there. Investing heavily at the position is literally the only way to fix the biggest problem this team has. They should have done this before drafting another QB, but now it's all about not ruining him first.
@NeonSmlr there are almost never any, it's not about '25, it's about hopefully '26, because they didn't get enough last draft to develop for '25. We can't keep pushing that out, else we may add well be scouting HS classes for QBs in '28
Pass on Campbell. They need to spend money in free agency on O-line, and WR. Then trade down, or take best player available, which may be one of the DE prospects.
@patman147 we'll hopefully see if Strange can handle center. Then, maybe guard in free agency (no idea what the market there looks like). I still think they absolutely have to go Campbell if they think he can at least be a top tier guard eventually. It's not like Hunter isn't a project if you're viewing him as a WR answer, so they're going to have to develop a top pick probably regardless of who. Even the Chargers are working Alt in slowly, starting him out on the right. The sooner they start the process with some stud lineman, the sooner they'll be competitive again. Longer they wait, the sooner Maye is hurt or sped up and throwing even more awful picks.
Ricky White just what they need another Jack of all trades WR like Boutte, Polk, Baker Bourne etc. I have an idea How about drafting some elite offensive weapon that does one thing really really well like oh I don’t know, Ashton Jeanty
Lmao. CB Will Johnson is so much better at DB. BEST IN THE NATION. EASY. Guy say Travis is Deion & we could have a Modern Day LOB ? Dude. Travis is not Brandon Browner or Sherman. Bozos in charge! To give you an idea how much losers they are, they cut OG Michael Jordan this week and signed him to the Practice Squad a few days later. DEI bozos and losers.
Belichick didn’t have an eye for high end offensive talent, hopefully they move on from mayo and Wolfe can put his mind together with a slowik or johnson for the draft
I don’t, I want a new front office to be hired for this offseason. These people can’t be trusted to allocate the cap space and they have proven they can’t evaluate talent.
too bad we will draft at the top and our biggest need that is Tackle there are no one special at that position like last year. this is a weak year for top of the line OT
Campbell and hope. That's the only choice here. They made that choice already when they took Maye last year and followed that up by taking a would-be #4 WR for some reason as if they needed to fill out the roster. You invested heavily (and in complete backasswards thinking/ strategy) in starting the rebuild with a QB last year so you need to maximize the chances of success there and that starts with keeping him alive not luxurious toys. In all likelihood it's going to take at least a year of development for any top lineman too, so do people really want to see Maye eat 130 hits and 40 sacks each of the next 2 years while whoever is at WR are just throwing their hands up down field somewhere? Even if he turns out to be a guard, if Strange ends up at C, they probably still need a LG. So in short, I don't care what Campbell ends up as so long as he plays it at a high level. That alone would be a definite step in the right direction.
I don’t know man. In my opinion I would go after 2 top 10 o line @ $20-25m hopefully get a top to pick try to train gain trade capital but stay in the top six trade for Metcalf and build on defense or Pic McMillan edge, then cb lb
The only way they're getting top line help is the draft, the only decent OT whose contact is up, I think it's Denver's and they have space to re-sign him. This position doesn't make free agency anymore, not the great, good, or even decent ones.

I also feel like a veteran receiver will be most helpful to Drake Maye. Tee Higgins will be entering veteran status
Higgins signing is a must
You young guyz are informed interesting & concise!
Hopefully , with the emergence of drake maye as legitimate quarterback. NE will be a more desirable location for high end WR talent
WR NKeal Harry..T. Thornton..OL Cole Strange....beef up practice squad.
*What if they addressed both the WR/OL groups in free agency. Then just took the bear offensive player in the draft in Ashton Jeanty.*
I would be pissed if they took a RB in the first. We could use another solid RB,but it is definitely more severe needs.

Draft Ashton Jeanty. There is no one else that I trust this front office to take this high

They're not getting OT in free agency. Good ones don't make it there that's why you get mediocre at best getting $20m there the last couple years.
@@mpolinsk22 Maybe Bolles, or shift and look at free agent guard or center.

There are actually some pretty good free agent IOL available and a couple of decent Tackles as well
Have heard other oline experts say maybe a guard

Except that Will Campbell projects as a guard and sorry not taking a guard in the top 5 of a draft even if he is the best one that has ever lived
