I noticed you used different brushes for stages of your application of foundation and eye makeup. May you break down (or do you have a video for) each brush you used, what it's best used for and why?
I ask b/c I was in Sephora today and there were so many brushes I didn't know which to choose. There were 5 for eye makeup. Though the sales person tried to describe them to me it was hard to catch on and I got the most basic one in consideration of my budget.

Is your concealer suppose to match your skin tone?
Concealer is normally 2 shades lighter than skin tone (to brighten up the eye area). If you are using concealer to colour correct first like Ale did, then you use a concealer shade as close to your skin tone to cancel out discolouration. After you do that, then you go with a concealer 2 shades lighter to brighten the eye like Ale. If you don't have discolouration under your eyes, then you don't need to do that step.

Even with all this my makeup still isn’t coming out right. I just look ashy. Foundation fits my complexion, concealers are lighter, I use a medium deep finishing powder and idk what’s wrong. I’m just not gifted like you all😔
You don't have a friend or relative or a salon that can maybe show you
Don’t give up! Some of us weren’t born w these skills. We’ve all had similar challenges. There’s so much free education out here-stay the course (trial, evaluate, troubleshoot, and repeat)! E.g. is it the way you’re matching to product, oxidizing, undertone, blending too drastic of colors together?
So much of this is trial and error. Eventually you’ll be able to look at something and understand almost immediately if it’ll suit you or not. Don’t be discouraged!

Definitely don’t give up. I used to always struggle with finding products that work for my skin tone and how to apply them. This is the main reason I decided to start teaching how to apply makeup. Try going out to the store and trying out many concealers to see which one works for your skin tone.
