New rerecorded Morbid Angel albums! - Tractors of Madness!! Presenting hits like "Immortal Rides" and "Visions from the Countryside" Blessed Are the Hicks!! - Cowenant!! Including masterpieces like "World of Horseshit", "Sworn to the Sheriff" and "Cow's Den"!!!
I'm a bit shocked.. by how much I love this! David Vincent is an intelligent and thoughtful man, and his music always feels very heartfelt, no matter in which shape it manifests.
Fuck it, if he's not just doing country music for the money but is doing it because it's what he really wants to do then good on him. That takes courage and balls. He's doing it even though a lot of people hate it and I respect him for that. I don't like the music but I admire the courage he has to go his own way and do what he wants regardless of whatever anyone might think of him.
It was an honor to have met personally and to have played together and opened the show with my band Ancestral Malediction in 2005 here in Brazil Rio de Janeiro
Really great voice and good, funny lyrics too, I really enjoyed that -- and the fact that the bassist is named Chris Barnes is just making this even better XD
Eh .. hard disagree man. It’s extremely derivative. There are modern country artists that do the outlaw thing way better, but hey, good on him for branching out.
And 4 years later after this comment, what they pass as "country" nowadays is even more of an absolute joke. I hear far more elements of hip hop, pop, and rock than I do from traditional country now. It's like all the aforementioned genres are mixed together one way or another, featuring a "country" vocal style. When I grew up in the 90's I thought alot of the country music back then was too commercialized and inauthentic sounding , but listening to this garbage now makes that era sound positively amazing in comparison. (and now that I'm older, I actually like and appreciate most of that 90's stuff)
I really like this! Enough with feeling "betrayed" by David to death metal fans, this is where his heart really is, and you can hear his voice reflect that. God Bless David
this is great David! I live, and grew up in the deep south and despite being a hardcore punk/metalhead, I have a deep appreciation and love for classic outlaw country music. Well played sir...well played.
Goddamnit if this isn't actually good. I'm a metalhead above all but I've always had a soft spot for classic country. I grew up with it. My dad was all into Cash, Waylon Jennings, Willie Nelson, etc. Good job, David. I prefer Alters of Madness, but this is some good stuff.
Dave's getting a lot of shit for this but he's not the first one to do this. You do realize he's not the first right? Jeff walker of Carcass did a country album about 7 years ago. Tom Hunting and Jack Gibson of Exodus have a country side band. Glenn Danzig wrote a song for Johnny Cash. Dimebag and Vinnie did a Country Metal crossover album called Rebel Meets Rebel. And the dudes from Obituary are huge country fans too. Even Al Jourgenson's favorite musician is Patsy Cline. Get over it.
I always respected David Vincent when he was in Morbid Angel. I respect him with his new band Vltimas. I respect him still; he's doing what he likes to do. But to me it's hard to picture one of my favorites death metal vocalists playing country but still RESPECT.
Not much different than Bone Thugs N Harmony doing Tha Crossroads which was far from their hardcore gangster hits. Or Ozzy Osbourne doing a song with Elton John, Ordinary Man.
Awesome..... I am a true Metal head through and through,open-minded enough to let good music in.... this is so close to the legend Man in Black.... Awesome☆ 🤘 ☆
This really needs to be on the new Beavis and Butthead episodes.. I'll never forget being a kid in the 90s and hearing butthead, "bow to me faithfully.." this is epic.. the devil went down to Florida, looking for Vincent's soul to steal 🤣😂
I found this the same way a lot of others here found it, but I'm not going to bash it (in fact, I think if it wasn't for the bands David was in before, this would be getting praised much more than it is). This is really good and something like a return to form to what country music should be. I get vibes of Johnny Cash and many other classic country musicians throughout the entire video, and I will definitely look forward to future releases.
Sorry man but this means you like country. It's okay country is absolutely badass. Not that shit with the auto tune they have now... But like Johnny cash and David Allan Coe and shit. Check out finger fuckin Sally by DAC, or rebel meets rebel with Dime and Vinnie from Pantera
o moonshine moonshine, you are my destiny o moonshine, moonshine you are my loony when I was walking one day in a dark forest I thought it was the moon's news from the dark corners of Appalachia to Chicago, the hectoliter city flowing from tall skyscrapers until the gutters full of foam &go on... Sometimes you are like a leaf that the wind blows from one gutter to another. sometimes you are stronger then. greetz.
I didn't know about this until I read David's book I am Morbid. Love Morbid Angel and this is great too. Has a real Hank lll vibe to it. Would love to see a Mr. Vincent and Hank lll duet!
This is awesome! damn, I never thought I should hear one of my boyhood heroes go Country, but it sounds so cool. Well done David. Cheers from Denmark :)
Love this , so freaking cool, I loved Morbid Angel to, saw them few time in San Antonio, Hopefully David tours soon…anxious waiting..I always play this song at parties to get people moving.. love it
He is a permanent staple in my playlists forever because how fucking awesome Morbid Angel is, not just Dave....holy shit that was a band back then so it's sort of like seeing Slayer for the last time before retiring, well earned...do whatever you want, you deserve it all. The song and video was suprisingly pretty cool.
Truly amabzing ! Such great talent and artistic power ! And I'm a die hard fan of Deicide, Death, Pestilence, Grave, Carcass, Nile...and obviously Morbid Angel ! Talent has no limits, music has no boundaries.
Drink with me faithfully,
Drink with me splendidly
bublok lol he's still the god of emptiness regardless of music genre
thanks for that! made my day!
lord of all fevers and stetsons
lol
😄👍
This man is a part of Death Metal history. He can do what he wants.
Sicslayer as long as he doesn't go in dry.
anyone can do what they want, nobody is saying he's forbidden to do so
I love country and dave can do what he wants but that doesnt mean that this isnt just horrible by any standard. cliche, elementary and cheesy as hell
He can do anything he wants but that doesnt mean its a good idea
Still waiting for Trey to do his avant-garde jazz record. THAT will be something special.
New rerecorded Morbid Angel albums! - Tractors of Madness!! Presenting

Don’t know if that
Fuck yeah 🤣!
Altars of drunkenness

Drunk are the Sick

David Duncan I think he's doing it for the right reasons
music isn't that serious. The fans think it's more serious than the muscicians do. It's just jamming
I've never known a metal musician go on to country. He clearly enjoys this, his image and attitude matches
Very true
Country is a good music.
Never in my teenage years while listening to the album Covenant would I have thought David Vincent would end up doing country music. I like it
He really does have a great voice, this is super cool
This is too extreme for me!
yeah it's morbid, instead of headbanging - foot stomping
peter 73 haha
Man that’s pretty clever. Did you think that up all by yourself or do you have a team of paid writers?
"Extreme music for extreme peoples"
Who killed and replaced Vincent with a body double and turned him into a hick???
Altars of Countryness
It was an honor to have met personally and to have played together and opened the show with my band Ancestral Malediction in 2005 here in Brazil Rio de Janeiro
Mr Vincent is one hell of a musician. Arguably the best death metal frontman of all time, and he makes some kickass outlaw country too! Sweet! \m/
I’m pleasantly surprised! I expected the WORST but it turns out I like it a lot. Reminds me of Johnny Cash.
Really great voice and good, funny lyrics too, I really enjoyed that -- and the fact that the bassist is named Chris Barnes is just making this even better XD
The fact that Jack Burton made this comment makes it even more awesome. Checks in the mail, brother. Glad you dig it.
@@chrisbarnes7367 Oh hey, the man himself, it just keeps getting better and better! Keep shaking the pillars of heaven! 👊🤘
This is pretty good. It has a hint of Johnny cash. Better than what passes as country music these days.
Eh .. hard disagree man. It’s extremely derivative. There are modern country artists that do the outlaw thing way better, but hey, good on him for branching out.

Today's Outlaw country is garbage, Dave is doing the genre RIGHT and not adding hip hop beats...let alone rapping the lyrics.
It's more Rockabilly really.
GOD OF DRUNKENESS👹👹👺
I really like this! Enough with feeling "betrayed" by David to death metal fans, this is where his heart really is, and you can hear his voice reflect that. God Bless David
He released another Death Metal album earlier this year.
By far the best thing you did since Domination
Agree 😂😂
this is great David! I live, and grew up in the deep south and despite being a hardcore punk/metalhead, I have a deep appreciation and love for classic outlaw country music. Well played sir...well played.
The mark of an excellent musician is being able to play and sing more than one genre skillfully.
It's not bad, to be honest. Just don't expect Altars of Madness when you click the vid.
We know bruh ...
It rules stfu
Is this the same Dave from morbid angel
Timmorrisjr lol
My god
....what the hell happened to hin
Goddamnit if this isn't actually good. I'm a metalhead above all but I've always had a soft spot for classic country. I grew up with it. My dad was all into Cash, Waylon Jennings, Willie Nelson, etc. Good job, David. I prefer Alters of Madness, but this is some good stuff.
Mr david vincent the legend
Wow, I never imagined seeing him sing like that, good for him
His voice sounds amazing! It has a rough neck sound like Hank Williams Sr. !
You've never actually heard Hank Williams, have you?
It's just a banger of a song. Great lyrics, great musicianship. And it's funny and fun.
I definitely hear some Johnny Cash in this. It's really good , traditional country music. I hope David finds success with it.
Crazy. David Vincent proves there is no stopping him. He can do anything. And here's proof.
Good for him! He's making the music that makes him happy!
I'm all about some extreme metal but I love outlaw and old school country music, this is great!
Dave's getting a lot of shit for this but he's not the first one to do this. You do realize he's not the first right? Jeff walker of Carcass did a country album about 7 years ago. exactly All that Remains did a Garth Brooks Cover recently
Doesn't matter. Country still sucks.
Exodus even made a country cover of Bonded by Blood so it figures.
How would Dave Groul sound singing outlaw country? Lol Krist novaselic would play guitar with him
Nergal from Behemoth as well
Damn, this is good... Mr Vincent surely a real artist
I always respected David Vincent when he was in Morbid Angel. I respect him with his new band Vltimas. I respect him still; he's doing what he likes to do. But to me it's hard to picture one of my favorites death metal vocalists playing country but still RESPECT.

@@nicholaszeman4045 true. Still they have my respects....for having brass balls in doing things like that.
I met David lately on i am morbid show and he was so cool...as Pete Sandoval...both great guys ❤
Was thinking the other day “ I wonder what David Vincent from Mornid Angel is up to” Holy sheep shiit! N1 Dave, N1.
David can litterally do anything and everything
How did i not know this existed? Coincidentally wearing my Morbid Angel shirt.
Respect to DV for doing this, a lot different to 'Blessed Are The Sick' mind. Country fans will love this.
Awesome.....
I am a true Metal head through and through,open-minded enough to let good music in.... this is so close to the legend Man in Black.... Awesome☆ 🤘 ☆
Very good!! Congratutions David Vicent you'll always be morbid...
This really needs to be on the new Beavis and Butthead episodes.. I'll never forget being a kid in the 90s and hearing butthead, "bow to me faithfully.." this is epic.. the devil went down to Florida, looking for Vincent's soul to steal 🤣😂
Amazing voice!!! David Vincent one of my fav. vocalist!
well I'm a metal guy but that's my kind of country for sure I wish I knew more contry bands like that
he does country better than modern country acts do holy crap!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Blessed are the Hicks
My face was just melted off by Fall from Grace and now I came to this. What the hell did I just watch.
Haha love it... from legendery death metal demon to bad ass country rebel =)
After all those years of metal.... I'm impressed. Honestly, I'm impressed, fucking great song right here, David.
Damn.. David Vincent sounds like The Beat Farmers.. kinda dope though.. I like it!
I found this the same way a lot of others here found it, but I'm not going to bash it (in fact, I think if it wasn't for the bands David was in before, this would be getting praised much more than it is). I'm a hard core old Morbid Angel fan but I gotta tell you, D, you can pull this off!
David...please, please, PLEASE release these songs on iTunes so I can listen in the car and at work.
I do not like country music but I love Dave's vocal tone. One of the best death metal singers !!!
David Vincent & James Hetfield Country duo FTW!

Great performance! You still are my hero.

"Somehow he knew I wouldn't be at church". Duh! 😄
Wonderful, David Vincent is a really great singer.
AWESOME! very unexpected. great stuff!

Thank`s mister Vincent from Krasnodar! Cooooooouuuull texs singinnn)))
I'm a huge morbid Angel fan and I love this
"They cancel Soap and I'll be like Bert, on Empty Nest."
Cool!))
I knew in the 90's, when he thanked eight-point bucks in the Domination credits, that he'd one day release a country album. Not bad at all.
Maize of torment!
Love this , so freaking cool, I loved Morbid Angel to, saw them few time in San Antonio, Hopefully David tours soon…anxious waiting..I always play this song at parties to get people moving.. love it
You can David!
Better than country yhey putting out now. Definitely a cash vibe. I was mixing Daath cover if slime and a friend sent me this. I had no idea.
I wish to see David Vincent and Glen Benton in one country band 😃
Really liking it!
He is a permanent staple in my playlists forever because how fucking awesome Morbid Angel is, not just Dave....holy shit that was a band back then so it's sort of like seeing Slayer for the last time before retiring, well earned...do whatever you want, you deserve it all. Immortal cowboy rites
Dave, sounds great...
Wow, that's catchy. Could become my new wake-up tune.
Bro, this is a big change from Morbid Angel, ironically, it's just as crazy lyrically
Killer stuff guys!
Holy fuck! Damn cool.
great song david it will stay in my head all day
Hey David really cool bringing a real old school country sound back... any art is good as,long as your heart is in it. Still love morbid though.
Heaven yeah 💛
I don't know why extreme metal and country music are so closely related but they are. And they're both awesome.
With a voice like that, I'd be wanting to venture out of death metal as well.
two of my favorite genres together as one.
Wow, my first time! That’s cool!
"Bow to me faithfully bow to me splendidly" :)
Blessed are my horses

Such a fun experience :)
Outlaw! FTW, semper David Vincent.

Wow this is really far Morbid Angel, didn´t expect that.
Truly amabzing ! Such great talent and artistic power ! And I'm a die hard fan of Deicide, Death, Pestilence, Grave, Carcass, Nile...and obviously Morbid Angel ! Talent has no limits, music has no boundaries.
Great!
Coming from a teenager (I mean I was one almost 30 years ago), who played Blessed and Covenant almost to death of the tape.
Awesome.
Good stuff.
