My husband and I went yesterday and they added more booths near the fountain that just carried the food items to help with some of the line capacity. Also they open fed the saloon to help with all the people wanting to drink alcohol. Was able to walk right in within a couple minutes! :)
The goal in life is to find someone like the mayor that recognized you two from a second floor balcony with masks and sunglasses on! If that’s not love, I don’t know what it is!!! 😃 This made me so happy! ✨

There were kids who wrote us letters during the winter about how they wished they could come have a sleepover with us. It was so stinkin' cute. It's clear this fellow is absolutely a star memory maker. Knotts should be proud to have him.
Loving the look and vibe of Knotts Berry Farm. It looks like they offer a lot of fun unique to California foods that you don't find in any other theme park. From what I can see, this is a great use of space for this limited time event. At least Knotts gets some ppl in the gate, and can continue with their planned festival. Thx for sampling all the goodies for us!!

They're still being super careful about cleaning, added more sanitizer stations and added tons of tables. It was great. Sorry they used you guys as guinea pigs 🤷🏽♀️

The Mayor is hilarious. It was fun to see you guys interacting with him again. The Knotts interactive storyline is one of my favorite videos from your whole channel! Been interesting seeing how different venues have been handling logistics. I always get a kick out of seeing your heads pop up for the ratings system, but I also think at this point the ratings might be more useful if you rated thumbs up (worth the $ overall for taste/presentation/experience/etc) or thumbs down (don't recommend purchasing), and then picked your favorites at the end of the video. Either way, it's still fun :)
The mac-n-cheese nuggets look like what I got at the New Mexico State Fair last year, and yeah they’re were a little sad. That pastrami sandwich? Yum! I would love to have one of those! You look like you had fun! Great video!

Great video guys, I loved the intro! Despite the lines, it seems that things flow relatively smoothly and keep people safe. I have to say the boysenberry wings is a new spin for me. I guess for 25 bucks and get to sample all that yummy food is a win in my book. I also liked the idea of a relaxation station to get away from all the madness and sit down for a moment.

We've been going for years to the Boysenberry festival and the Taste of Calico on Sunday was hot and long lines. I've noticed that some issues were with the items or staff. I waited 30 minutes to get to the front of line for Boysenberry smoothie, only to be told "Not working" 10 minutes later it was still completely watery.
That sucks. We didn’t have any quality issues with food except for the melted ice cream sandwich. There is a great idea here and we enjoyed our time there but they have a bunch to improve on in terms of the lines.
I’m sure they are still working out the kinks. This has never been done before so I’m sure they didn’t know the operational problems they would run into.

advice on the mask just twist the ear loops and it will tighten the mask and pull it up. but yea that mask was made for like an xxl size, coolest of the theme parks the purple one.

Going on Sunday. They were completely sold out last night, but it appears they opened up Sunday this morning. Used my AP for the discount. Got two adults and two children for $78.57! Not too bad!

Peter! If you’re on a pastrami kick, you gotta go to “The Hat” in Brea. North of Disneyland/DTD. A bit out of the way, but super good. (Also, they have a Drive Thru for on the way back towards LA. 😉) The chili fries are good too, but beware a “small/regular” could feed a small army. Johnnie’s Pastrami by Santa Monica, very similar to The Hat but also distinct. Those are both “shaved pastrami” but for the BEST NYC traditional sliced pastrami, go to Tommy Pastrami in Costa Mesa by the IKEA. Lingers in LA also traditional and great, but Tommy’s is like I flew across the country.

Guess what! I don't know you have heard, Knott's is doing another event called Taste of Knott's Starting Fridays,Saturdays and Sundays. The dates are August 21st-September 13th just found out today, I got an email on the event.

I went on Sunday when the event was open from 12 to 8. A couple carts by the fountain started serving some of the items, like chili and gumbo, with virtually no line. Also some of the drinks were available in the Saloon. Got all 5 items in just a few hours. Apparently they are already adjusting.
i got the chills when the Mayor recognized you !!! Id rather have the big mask then to small. You will probably figure a way to adjust it. Kitra … never be afraid to ask to have your food "right". Those guys probably never dealt with crowds like this so its trial and error. I find if you ask nice people will bend over backwards to make it "right".
Watching your video really late night because with all that food, Im at risk of breaking my diet I got tacos one street away.... .... 10 peters 10 kitras is a Superstar!

That sucks. We didn’t have any quality issues with food except for the melted ice cream sandwich. There is a great idea here and we enjoyed our time there but they have a bunch to improve on in terms of the lines.

advice on the mask just twist the ear loops and it will tighten the mask and pull it up. but yea that mask was made for like an xxl size, coolest of the theme parks the purple one.

Going on Sunday. They were completely sold out last night, but it appears they opened up Sunday this morning. Used my AP for the discount. Got two adults and two children for $78.57! Not too bad!

Peter! If you’re on a pastrami kick, you gotta go to “The Hat” in Brea. North of Disneyland/DTD. A bit out of the way, but super good. (Also, they have a Drive Thru for on the way back towards LA. 😉) The chili fries are good too, but beware a “small/regular” could feed a small army. Johnnie’s Pastrami by Santa Monica, very similar to The Hat but also distinct. Those are both “shaved pastrami” but for the BEST NYC traditional sliced pastrami, go to Tommy Pastrami in Costa Mesa by the IKEA. Lingers in LA also traditional and great, but Tommy’s is like I flew across the country.

I went on Sunday when the event was open from 12 to 8. A couple carts by the fountain started serving some of the items, like chili and gumbo, with virtually no line. Also some of the drinks were available in the Saloon. Got all 5 items in just a few hours. Apparently they are already adjusting.
Thats great to hear! When we went I think most lines we waited in were 30 minutes and two of them were an hour. The churro line was like 2 minutes.

Kitra … never be afraid to ask to have your food "right". Those guys probably never dealt with crowds like this so its trial and error. I find if you ask nice people will bend over backwards to make it "right".
