  • Hey Angelz! I'm super congested in this video as I was recovering from COVID, but thankfully I am better now and have tons of videos to post! I budged and bought a My First Barbie doll, but is this doll worth it for adult collectors? My First Barbie is a revamp of an older Barbie line geared towards preschoolers, yet it seems like there is some collector appeal to them as well. Join me as I unbox my first My First Barbie doll and try to answer if adults should be buying these!

At first, I had reservations about these dolls but after a couple of months of reviewing them, I now am the happy owner of Brooklyn & Malibu, 1 fashion pack plus the Bed set. Think I'm hooked now as they are so adorable! May purchase Teresa, Renee and more fashion packs plus the other accessory packs eventually. These are wonderful and as a doll collector I do see these dolls as being valued in years to come as a collectible doll!

Awh, those dolls are gorgeous! I bought every one of these dolls in my collection already. , If I go back being 3 years old again like I sure did played with Barbies in early 60’s, I would have asked mom to buy me every one of these dolls and I would have taken these dolls every where! Lol! That’s what I did with Barbie’s in those old days…and I have vintage Barbies in my collection. Same goes with Bratz when it first came out in 2001 that I encouraged with my daughter with it. It’s so nostalgic! 🥰🥰

I bought Brooklyn and man do I actually love her. I love the weight and height of the doll and that everything is removable.
I don’t love the printed accessories on the fabric but I totally understand it.
I love the colours, love that the sleeves and ruffles are separate fabrics.
I wish the normal fashionistas had the bend and snap knees and arms.
I was surprised they showed up in Australia as soon as they did, I was in Kmart trying to pick up Cleo’s basic g3 and they were just there out of no where.
I will be picking up renee most likely but not til they are on sale.
I wish brooklyns shoes were purple not bright barbie pink. I’m going to be painting them. The shoe mould is adorable though.
The faces are gorgeous. I love how well they translated to the new sweeter dolls.

I totally agree! There’s something so nice about a doll that has weight to it. I’m also considering picking up more, maybe once they go on sale!

What I don't like is the click/bend limbs. They break because kids over use them and then the knees are permanently slightly bent. Most toddlers are fine with their dolls just able to sit down and lay down to sleep. The Barbie with one or both arms bent to hold a purse or something are annoying because they can't make a comfortable/natural sleep position.

I really like them in person so I brought the Brooklyn sculpt and I really love her. She has such a nice vintage vibe to her. I’m glad that you got her as well. It’s fun to collect together! LOL ALSO, the customization options are endless! Just found your channel looking for reviews on this doll! I’ll be back! This was a great review!!! ✨🌟✨🌟✨😁

She’s so cute!!! And I agree, I feel like there’s so many possibilities to these dolls, I hope we get more sculpts and looks in the future for even more! Thank you so much for watching! 💗

I honestly love these dolls so much! I appreciate that they're more articulated than a "standard" barbie, and that they have a rubbery body! I plan on getting the whole set, though I doubt there will be more than this initial wave; unless they decide to play around with body types and such. I personally think the pets should be like bath toys, so that they're able to be held better, and also would have a lesser chance of choking. As for the originals in the 80's/90's, I believe they just shared the standard straight arm "beach body" with mayyybe a more solid plastic in the legs for easier dressing? I'll have to double check

A bath toy would be so neat! I love the body they're using, there's definitely increased playability compared to other current Barbie dolls!

@@LookinBratz I am hoping to come out with a doll line that will be good for the tub too. I'm a doll ooak artist, and have good ideas for dolls for young kids.

Dream Ella(?) Is pretty. This is the Barbie I just bought and I agree that the face is really cute and regular Barbie dolls should look more like that.

Dude, what in the world are you attempting to randomized about the doll? Lol! You have stated that the doll is aimed or possibly aimed for "preschoolers" so if you are aware of that, what point do you have with this video? Do really like the doll or you purchased the doll for content purposes, but from within you have a strong dislike for this particular doll? Most of time content creators are so inauthentic about certain doll brands in terms "like"..."love"..or the old/.repeated saying..."I really like the doll, but I feel...or I think...or I hope..."
This review is not a review. It's insult towards a brand, even if you spent your own money on the doll. This content is simply based on greed. the greed to "express your sugar-coated biases about a doll'. a doll that is not even design for a man of your age in mind.

I’m not sure what to tell you. You commented this on a previous video and didn’t provide any valuable feedback on how I could improve my videos.
