- In her very personal and touching story, Chetna speaks about how she got involved in a community of powerful women who tought her how to be strong against a system. She was able to build a finance system for indian women that completely changed the narrative on the perception of self esteem, society with woman and being a female entrepreneur in India.
An economist, farmer, and activist, Chetna Sinha works for social change in some of the poorest and most drought-stricken areas of rural India. She was a part of the Gandhian movement & is the founder and president of the Mann Deshi Mahila Bank, a micro-enterprise development bank. The Bank’s clients are low-income women with incomes averaging INR 40 (USD 1.00) per day. The Bank currently has seven branches, over 200,000 clients, and conducts 10,000 transactions daily.

OMG . So much inspiring.. This is real Business School .. Bharat is here in these Villages .. Our IAS cadre called Civil services simply failed in their duty .. These woman had to manage themselves and they do it so well. A bicycle for that girl LATHA is really a big achievement for her and our administration who handles 1000 cores could not afford her a Bicycle.. This is irony . Corruption eating our soul ..

Wow... What a beautiful journey.... Like you I am willing to do anything for our farmers, women and all labors... Because they work the most but gets the least... Please also do some number of things for our Anya data ( Farmers)
Just treat them with respect without spending single extra rupee.. Pay them decent money like Rs 500 or Rs 750 a day for labour .. Buy their products at market price Example : Mango at Rs 60 KG --- or any other crop .. That will go a long way -- just by pass farmers from exploitation -- With digital revolution now farmers are bypassing market and using whatsApp group they directly reach out to customer such as big flats etc.. It is happening -- A Coconut which is sold at Rs 30 in store - Farmer gets only Rs 13 /- A tomato which issold T Rs 40 in stores farmer gets only Rs 8 or 10 .. Like that - Digital technology can by pass all middlemen and directly farmer can reach end customer -- That was the intension of Farmer bill
Today since the morning i was not feeling well but after listening this story..tears come from my eyes...such a inspiring story feeling well now... thank u soo much ma'am...u just made my day...
It happened to me also.. tears rolled.. Such brave women stories are there in all places .. I visited one govt nursery where they sell plants .. one old village lady --- highly enthusiastic knows so much about trees she told us many insight into those trees -- all with zeal -- The manager then told that old woman is respected even by officers as she knows really lot of practical stuff.
