Also interesting to note is that in Matthew 2:16, Herod killed children 2 years old and under according to the timing the wise men gave him. So they had seen the star roughly 2 years prior to that.
Great video, thank you. I have been looking for Humphreys the star of bethlehem paper but had lost the reference years ago. You might be right that God caused the rotation of the earth to change to move a shadow, but God may also have put a light in the sky brighter than any other source of light. The latter method would seem to be more plausible to skeptics of the Bible.
@@egghead55425 yes - good thought - and consistent with Genesis 1. That had crossed my mind, but didn't quite make it in there by upload time. Blessings
Sun, moon, and stars are not always literal in the Bible. As a matter of fact, a vast majority of time they stand for governments or kingdoms and the people under those administrations.
This was a great video. Very well put together.
Thank you. I hope your Christmas has been blessed.
@ it has been great. Lots of prayer and remembrance of the savior and his sacrifice for us

Not always literal - agreed (as noted in the video). Curious to see the references about governments and kingdoms, though.
