As a recent convert to QRP..., having had a new 818 follow me home... I loved this video! Plus, I can also verify your terrific encounter... a couple of weeks ago on 20 metres, I gave Dave G4AKC a report of 5-4 for 1 watt and then an amazing 3-2 for 100 mW! Dave went lower again, but if not for a very noisy band that day with QRN I’m sure I would have been able to hear that as well. Plus, it deserves a reminder that both our experiences were long path propagation! Good too Peter that you highlighted the poor evaluation of solar conditions at the time of your contact.
