I applied for a student exchange to Tsukuba in April 2025. looked on TH-cam for dormitories for short stay students. This type of dormitory looks comfortable and spacious. thankyou
Thank you soo much; I need this kind of information. I am going to have an internship for 2 months at AIST, and your video is very useful resource for me.
I'm going to study in Tsukuba Daigaku in 2025 , I'm from Chile, so I already had earthquake experience before, and it’s really nothing you only need to protect your head down a table and stay calm during an earthquake.
I´m going to Tsukuba in January 2024 as a guest researcher for 3-months and apparently, I will stay in a dorm very close to yours :D I will be charged 230 € per month without heating costs etc. Not sure though if I will get a bike since it will be snowy and slippery in winter. However, I will definitely check out your knife shop recommendation :D I really appreciate your guidance :)
Hey that’s great to hear, you’ll love the culture. Enjoy the food and knife shop. Pro tip there used to be a super cheap onsen on the campus that you can enter for like 80 yen (a euro or something) and chill out for a bit, and mount hokyo you can reach by bike, it’s also amazing. Here’s a video of me hiking it :) m.th-cam.com/video/HiHDfizeEVM/w-d-xo.html
@@siebrendevos Haha, that's really dirt cheap 😂 I definitely want to try a onsen bath and I'm also planning to travel to Sapporo to do so. Thank you so much for your help 😊 Greetings from Germany
I could pick between chiba and tsukuba because they are partner universities with the uni I was at in the Netherlands. I went for tsukuba because there were more people there that I already knew, and my mentor recommended it to me because he was a teacher there. I don't know what it's like to do an exchange in Tokyo, but Tsukuba is a lot more peaceful than Tokyo.
Hey, how did you like the medical department? I am going to absolve my internship in visceral surgery as part of my final year of studying medicine. I would really love to gather some informations and experiences, since I can’t find alot about tsukuba. Is there a way to address you? I have so many questions about it

I like the golden bike how'd you get it?
You can buy it at the golden curry store in Asakusa 🚲
How much was the dorm room in yen ?
Why did you pick Tsukuba rather than unis located in Tokyo? Also main pros/cons of doing an exchange in Tsukuba compared to in Tokyo itself?

Funny guy
which dorm are you living in? May I know which is the nearest dorm name with medical science department.
I would suggest finding a map of the campus online, i lived there 3 years ago so my info isn’t up to date ;)
