0:58 i think the best move is knight to c3 forking the d1 and e2 squares so the king cant escape and the knight is defended by the bishop so if the queen takes the bishop will take and then rook to d1 defended by the knight and its checkmate tell me if there is something wrong in my plan ❤

somehow i'm 2400 in puzzles but in the 1200s of rapid, blitz, and bullet. not sure how the discrepancy is nearly double my match ratings but i was only 2100 in puzzles before watching you, so thanks for the good content bobby

Yeah, I've always wondered why people's puzzle ratings are much higher than their general ratings, but I have a theory. It could be that puzzle ratings simply reflect only your ability to spot tactics, while your general rating takes your skill level in all areas of the game into account, not just spotting tactics, but also being able to make plans, convert positions, create weaknesses, attack crushingly, defend solidly, open with sound theory, correctly convert endgames, etc.

The 2780 puzzle...couldn't you take pawn g6 and than take on h7? because I dont see how anything can stop the queen from taking and giving check mate there with being protected by the bishop on white squares and even if he blocks the connection between queen and bishop with rook cant you just take with bishop and its still a check mate?

I think you missed a beautiful checkmate at 5.58. After pawn takes Bishop, g3 and Nf3+ Rook takes h2 checkmate is unavoidable. The problem iif we take the Bishop may be that they have pawn f5 and the king escapes.
