So these aren’t gonna be videos about coins - they’re videos about the things on the coins, using them as a sort of contents page. Some of them are directly about the letter’s theme, and some are a bit more loosely connected, and there’s even 3 or 4 letters I haven’t made a video about at all. But the whole idea was to get me creating and uploading more. There will be quite a few unrelated (and some kitten-related) videos in between too. After every state they did national parks and so on. I haven seen the old design of the quarter in several years. They also are doing this with other coins. Good to see you are back
I’ve been obsessed with pressed coins for over 20 years. Being only 26 I realized that a coin can last forever, so I now have over 600 that I’ve gotten over the years. Every vacation, every notable experience and tourist attraction. I have them all and I’m happy to say it has been a life well lived so far. The coolest, I went to Disneyland for their 60th anniversary, and got the complete collection in steel, and silver.

My mom and I enjoyed collecting the US state quarters, one for each US state. There are two US mints, one in Denver and one in Philadelphia, so there were two quarters for each state, one D and one P, 100 quarters in all. We got them all before she died and now I have my collection and hers.
I live in England Britain it’s not as bad as it seems yea there is a bad thing every now and again but it’s my home and I love it and I’ve never been to most of the places on the coins but you Chris has inspired me to do so I’m going to ask my mom if she would do the things with me couse I can’t do it on my own I’m only a child and I can’t believe how many subscribers you have earns Chris I remember when you where only on 9000 keep up the good work and I’m so glad your back

South Africa has a few interesting coins. Our coins still tend to have animals on them like the older bank notes. The R5 is interesting since its made out of 2 different metals which form a inner and outer part

I now got about 73 rare coins just by checking out my change I also got two paddington coins from my friends

Ive not had a singe one of those 10ps either and figure that very very little have actually been in the publics hands and the majority have went to people who work in the banks and if they have left the bank without getting taken by one of the staff then the staff at whatever shop has seen them and pocketed them. I also dont think any of them got released in scotland because ive literally not met anyone whos seen one and ive asked bank clerks, corner shop owners, bus drivers, my friends etc
I've heard a lot of things about bank / post office workers taking entire new bags of them for themselves to sell online. It's super frustrating. I've only found 7 (and 4 were in one go), and that's from really trying hard for over a year. It's a shame, but on the plus side, Royal Mint have been making more of these coins, so they should become more common.
