Well, didn't necessarily want to buy new paracord but that mixed camo is looking tempting. Dark enough to blend into the forest, light enough that it isn't stark against sandy backgrounds. P.S. the "hidden logo" isn't that hidden. Another solid vid Equip 2 Endure!
I just wanted to let you guys know. Mountain house has released new meal pouches with NEW instructions. Could you guys try out a few for a video. Maybe you could compare the new and old ones. Thank you
All “mil-spec” paracord uses the same materials. One mil-spec variety shouldn’t have any significant performance difference than the other. However, we do like ToughGrid 750 for extra strength.
I like earth tone colors (and all of my rolls are digi-camo or coyote right now), but the more I am out in the woods, the more I like bright orange anything, including paracord, do i can find stuff when I inevitably drop it.
BINGO, Trevor! High-vis is great for things that are easy to lose sight of, or just lose period. That's why I like the hybrid hank where the length blends in, but the anchor points pop out. -Rusty
in all the vids I watch on TH-cam, nobody talks about 750 paracord. it's surprising. I prefer it as well to 550 cord. 750 is Only a fraction wider & a fraction heavier than 550 But is stronger than 550. I'll take 750 every time.
@Equip2Endure I've always been a fan of subdued colors, OD Green, FDE, etc. those colors blend in well to most surroundings without being an actual camo color.
Hey, Dbear! Totally valid comment. There is FireCord, SOL tinder cord (mentioned in this video), Survivor Cord, and others out there with tinder inside the cord. Here's my thinking on it... I like having a bit of tinder cord as a lanyard - especially attached to fire making tools. I don't like it on my longer hank because I wouldn't want to gut it to get at tinder. I carry separate fishing line, tinder, and thin bank line which is easier to get at (being separate) and doesn't compromise my 50ft hank should I ever need to gut it. Your mileage may vary. Appreciate the watch and comment, amigo! -Rusty
@@Dbear723 Yea, it was a novel idea at the time and some people may still like it. It shines in things like lanyards, shoelaces, bracelets, etc. but not necessarily for a sturdy and longer length utility cord meant to stay intact.
Agreeing with you. Desert camo is a subdued and calm color scheme. It’s the opposite of loud and obnoxious. It’s the beautiful girl at the party that doesn’t need to make a scene. Works really well (as intended) in the desert - as you see in the video.
Whatever works, right?! In the interest of keeping you safe, alive, and continuing to post on our videos 😜... I would recommend at least one 50ft hank of the good stuff. Then shred up all the cheap stuff on projects and experiments. Good to see you down here in the comments! -Rusty
Does this make you rethink which paracord you are carrying or nah?
Wow... surprised no one has made a video comparing colors in different environments. Well done.
Who won?

Titan Survival Para cord . Has fishing line, metal wire for snares and jut string for fire making along with the standard cords

Awesome stuff guys, keep up the good work
Roger that! That's for watching and sounding off.
Can you recommend a specific brand that would hold up/be the toughest for outdoors?

I like the orange for the visibility.
That high-vis really pops compared to the others. Thanks for watching and sounding off, captain! -Rusty
I'm a digicam (Paracord only) fan 😉
I've got to agree with you '76. I was surprised how much I liked the digi when actually deploying it in the field. Thanks for chiming in! -Rusty
I like OD green best because it matches my kit!
Can't blame someone for matching their accessories 😜. OD green is always a solid choice. -Rusty
Excellent informative video!
I like camo- as it’s best to not be seen or heard! Keep the information coming nothing better than paracord for survival
Stealth is the best baseline IMO. Add visibility only when needed.

I like the black paracord because it goes with everything. Thanks for a great and fun giveaway
Black does blend in a an EDC situation, doesn't it? Thanks for watching, beeferbaron! -Rusty

Thanks for the invite
I like the desert
It does have a really chill vibe to it. Thanks for watching and chiming in, Kevin!

Sry, I'm guilty! Pretty camo, ok quality, cheap cash... cut it all up, buy more... repeat! Lol. Not as bad as pink stuff!
