I love the way that Harry walks so confidently, and also the intermittent conversation he has, as he meows at different times in the video. He is a very engaging cat!
TH-cam has been testing ads for a few weeks now. Intermittent. Seem to be testing ad placement. Started with one at start now two in middle. But only a few so far.
In regard to harnesses, your situation is, while not unique, quite ideal. Also watching your recent videos of walking with 10 of the little beasts, and Harry today, you and your voice and presence are all the harness the cats need. There's a norwegian forest cat channel, the guy lives in Scandinavia I think, in a village with woods and paths just outside the village. His cats also walk without leads because his situation is very much like yours. Ideal for cat walks. I would not hesitate to walk my cat, or more accurately, to walk with my cat, if I had such a situation. And he'd love it just like Harry does. Once you get into urban areas it changes radically. My cat loves going on short walks with me, 1/2 a block at most, but even those involve his crossing a street with occasional cars driving by. But slowly. He knows what cars are and the speeds are generally under 25 kmh. Which appears to be well within safe speed for cat judgement. But there are constant dogs being walked, so he limits his ranging due to the danger. I've made him a harness and tested it but stopped because I quickly realized the walk would have to offer him something much better than he already has. Like going out with the harness vs not going out. But he already goes out. Due to the forelegs of a cat not being connected with bones to their body, the general consensus is a harness can be good but never fully cat escape proof. My feeling is that to avoid dog walkers and offer my cat a safe place to walk in nature I'd have to drive fairly far. But if he got spooked and slipped his harness he'd have to cross several high speed motorways and some fast city streets, with an extremely high risk of death. And that's assuming he'd even know where home was. Harnesses I think are more about keeping your cat alive and safe in complex environments, I fully agree that in your ideal setting they are not only unnecessary, they are bad because the lead hinders the cat's ability to explore and climb and be a cat.
If it were just Harry that gets spooked, then I wouldn't pay so much attention, but they all get spooked up there. More so around the buildings of that abandoned settlement. Dipper was the weirdest, but no change there 🤔🤣
What unseen dangers do we walk past in our confident ignorance? Cat's and dogs know, but they can't tell us, just indicate their unease. I assume that monastery was a Greek Orthodox institution until the 1970's.
Thank you for helping these precious babies ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

But harry is awesome 🐈👍
He is that Dimor 😍
Harry really is on his best behaviour here, isn't he? You may just be right about having you all to himself. At any rate, he's wonderful to watch!
Perhaps it's bad vibes from the past.❤
I was thinking the same.

There's a sainthood waiting for you at the Vatican. Bravo.
Does the feather still works with Harry...he was enjoying the feather so much the other day🦆👍🐈greetings from the Netherlands Andrew
Didn't last Dimor. He gets bored so quickly.
So harry is a weird cat Andrew 🐈🤪👍awesome 😂🎉
Dipper was the weirdest up there. He was up on his back legs, as though dancing with someone

Christian actually, but look up the history, it's an interesting read.
spirits are real and it seems that forest area is strong with them
I watched Dipper go up on his back legs one morning, just past those two trees. It was as though he were dancing with someone.
i hope they don't develop over the ruin site. its spectacular !
I believe that is off limits. The next time i'm up there, i'll go higher and take some photos looking down on the monastery.
@@blindlife4668 wow ! that would be super ! what a great place to live.
Harry just calls out, when he need his Daddy ❤ So cute 😊 Greetings from Denmark 😊
He does, because he knows i'll be there. 😍
how does a blind cat even adjust to a sound like a lawnmower or saw... crazy to think about
Good comment. Add to that, a hoover, & in Williams case, the tv. 🤔😒
