Love road trips...especially in the fall. The colors were beautiful. Loved that gold tree in the cemetery. And the reds were just gorgeous. I was surprised that there were no Halloween decorations anywhere. Or maybe I missed them. Stay safe as always ❤❤❤❤
Beautiful drive~~ 🍂🍁🍃 If you ever wind up on Route 453.. It runs from around Tyrone in Blair Co. to (I think?) Curwensville in Clearfield Co, I want to know!! 🤗 My 5th GGF is buried on the side of the highway in a very messed up grave. His name was John "Jacker" Campbell, died 1888. He's listed on Find a Grave, but his stone (that was put up in the 1960's I read) has his son's Civil War info on it. (My 5x Grandfather didn't serve & his son was captured & killed in VA, so they really messed up the stone).. Jacker is buried right on the side of the highway & according to articles, he's there because he was mad that the highway was being built.. So now he's laying next to it.. 🤪
Farms put out some good things, now they sleep. Trees will soon be at their best, no leaves, then they can be really seen. The roadside view is better than the woods in many cases. Some high tension lines and a large covey of Bob whites flushed by a Red Tail Hawk on a dive would be a nice sight as they fly across the road, An old Ford Tri. Mptor @800 feet moving over a harvested field would be fodder for a dream scene..An old Chevy stepside nose out by the roadside would be the perfect segue into a trip in the Tri Motor @2000 feet @ 90 knots windows wide open. while a super model throws a kiss.
if you continue on 248 and go to palmerton go on delaware ave... to the other end of town and then stay to your right on go on little gap road you will come to a covered bridge near the covered bridge inn... have you been there?
What a beautiful trip. The colours are gorgeous. Such beautiful scenery. Thanks for taking me along. Please take care

I would have made a turn off and stopped at Heisler's for ice-cream...except they are closed for the season.

The camera view from the dash makes it look like you are doing about 80mph lol.
Did you announce the name of your new vehicle? I missed it if you did. I'm going to guess Ruth, because Ruth followed Naomi. Haha.
Heading towards cabellas
Have you ever considered through hiking the Appalachian Trail?

that annoying "organ music" in the background is quite disturbing
