Hellll no, they come waterproof. When i got my first GTS laat year i was only less than 2 weeks out of collarbone surgery and i was riding on the ditch trail and hit a root and my board flew the 8 foot drop into the ditch, but being basically right out of surgery i couldnt jump in after it lol, so i had to watch it float for 5 minutes till i could finally get it out! All i could see what the top of the front footpad so it basically was under water the entire time. And it still runs like a champ
@Floatin-G-91 crazy tight I was kinda worried about that, well not the board flyin into water but jus water damage to the board from snowy rainy days ya kno.
Oh for sure dude, trust me i was flippin out when i was watching it float down the dotch for 5+ mins lol was thinking oh great i just ruined a 4k board on the first week hahah
But its always wet and muddy or snowy up here in the winter and ive never had any problems! Just make sure u let it dry out a bit or at least make sure the charge port isnt wet when u plug it in
