Thank you. Even though it was unarchived, to close it with Bohemian Rhapsody was a dynamic finish to that karaoke. You could tell they have fun and they did their own spin. I've heard this song from the original, Wayne's World version with the now "mandatory" headbanging, Weird Al's Polka parody and the Muppets' version. They each have their own feel. Fuwamoco's was nothing but sweet. It showed a tad of dissonance singing in such a sweet tone with some of the lyrics, but that's Bohemian Rhapsody for you. A rock classic that will never die. If they ever do another of these special karaokes, I am personally hoping for Stairway to Heaven.

Omg, after that one short karaoke stream with Okayu and Towa in like 2021, I didn't think I'd get any more actual duets from Hololive, or vtubers in general. I've always seen it as such a shame that a group of so many skilled singers is only ever producing one-voice (or unisono) songs, when they could be creating so many harmonies. This is great!
You're right, there's quite a lack of duets with harmonization. At least the hololive x holostars section of the new year live had some great harmonies.
In term of stream karaoke, its just technical difficulty that prevent people from doing duet. It’s not possible from home cause of latency (it’s actually possible but requires far too many setup so thats probably a no), and in case of offline one I feel like they need to be in the same house or studio which is rly hard for their schedules. And for harmony in songs… i dunno maybe they prefer to standout by themselves which shouldn’t even be true cus harmony will bring the best out of main vocal, im clueless about this too lol
@@deprescion9143 Right, organizing duo karaoke is hard, that's absolutely correct, although once you do meet offline for a stream, the biggest barrier is gone. However, I didn't really mean they should do mostly duets, it's natural they're gonna produce way more solo covers and songs cause it's simpler to do, I get that. What I was getting at is that when they do a collab song, it's always just one part sung by one singer and another part sung by the other, or it's just unisono when they're singing at the same time. You know, when both of the singers keep the exact same note and sing the exact same thing. I feel like they have all this potential of making much more interesting harmonies in terms of either picking songs with multiple voice harmonies already present, or adding their own (if the licensing allows for it). In terms of singing skill, 80% of Hololive for example is more than capable of executing on that. All in all, it's just a bummer that they don't do this when they could. Imho, it creates much more interesting music. For the exact reference of what I'm talking about (in case I'm not expressing myself well), you can check out Okayu and Towa's stream I mentioned earlier. I think the same too, I mean I want them to do more chorus, but just as I said before, I don't exactly know why they don't do that. My guesses are they prefer to stand out one by one more(solo vocal) because they are streamers with each of their own fanbases, and fans wants them to shine(I mean most people doesn't know tad bit about music theory, they just appreciate it), so chorus to them is just another background sound that isn't that important. Or it's not that deep and im a schizo, but just because they simply didn't know how to do a chorus (from my experience many of my non-professional main vocal singer friends somehow can't do chorus, might be related to not having a proper singing lesson when started, or not good enough to improvise on a chorus, but they probably all know how, judging from what they said about having lessons and all) or they just didn't think of that at all for karaoke because improv is hard and they want it to be perfect so alteration that could mess it up is a no go. but no excuse for the collab song itself, this is clearly a producer's fault(don't take this too srsly just me hehehaha throwing shades at producers)

Maybe this is gonna change at some point, but I don't see it happening at scale, simply cause the current model works for them well enough and most people don't care.
