People seem to like TV show length videos on my channel vs clicking 20 small videos of the show. I didnt think people wanted long videos but turns out with the masses dropping cable tv....TH-cam videos are the new TV shows. Short videos are still coming though.

Rick Green it's in line with the regular RV industry. Weatherproof materials, safety regulations, beefed up suspensions, water plumbing and heating systems, cooking/propane systems, convertible bedding/seating systems all cost money. You can build things yourself but that often involves tons of mistakes which ends up costing more than if you just had a pro build it for you. There is always tent camping....it just comes with it's own pros and cons.
The car I would most have from the entire show is that mitsubishi at the warn booth, pre 2005 Mitsubishi’s are the pinnacle of Japanese engineering that l300 will not die, it isn’t uncommon for those things to drive past the 350,000 mile mark, Mitsubishi dominate the euro pickup market and are starting to make some decent cars again.
All i can say is excellent video and it SHOWS that you are into these overland type vehicles when you bring the entire family:) Family that goes together STAYS together:)

When they ask you where show is, and how to find dates etc.,that's the true tesiment as to how good you are doing w/your videos. I also love the fact that you answer as well. I'm told that making a video is a major production in itself. I became a sub before the end of the first video I watched. You do good work! If I were to make any suggestions in the hopes of helping you make your final work 💣 proof it would be to protect your sound pickup from the wind when you're outside. 1:01:30 Stewart and Stevenson MTV's are still used in the Army to haul stuff around post in a non-combat environment, like in TRADOC (bootcamp/AIT). In a combat zone, the Army uses the new up-armored versions made by Oshkosh. They have the same form factor except the panels are very angled and VERY heavy. But the Army is SLOWLY getting rid of the old ones.

I like the Tear-Drop is very nice and fit the family of 5 with the hardshell popout rooftop (iKamper) on the top and affordable as well. Great video as always and thank you for sharing again. Another great video! That Teton from St George and the Recon Nissan NV200 were pretty badass. I still think your Hyundai/Hiker/RTT setup and the '82 Mercedes were the way to go. Keep it simple.
Desert Logic I agree simple is very good. My Hyundai Tucson is a $$6k cheap reliable commuter car. The hiker trailer with RTT is tiny yet fits my family of 5 when its time to sleep. Camping doesn't have to be a $20k endeavor. Thanks for watching.

Man oh man I LOVE that Jeep Rubicon JK with the back half being a one piece camper unit with walk through to the cab!! Earth Roamer used to produce them but only sold a couple so discontinued it but if you get lucky once in a while one pops up for sale on expedition sites. The big famous one that got it all started white with the utah arch and it was a steal ! I wanted it desperately, at the time I was single and 33 years old , live north of Moab Utah and was going to put a little money into retrofitting and refinishing the interior in a modern contemprorary style , add solar , electronics etc etc and then live in it year round (they were 4 season units from earth roamer so winter to summer were good). I waited a day too long and it sold , haven’t seen one since but keep hoping Earth Roamer will try again with the new JL wranglers , or USe the gladiator platform, with the little Cummins diesel now available it’s be epic!
Wow that was an epic hour & a half. Wish I could have been there but my feet would have given out. You did an excellent job covering this show. Now that ive got my 4runner i gotta start outfitting for travel. A trailer may come down the road but for now we will use a tent. I'm trying to stay as lightweight as I can by trying the minimalist approach. We'll see how that works out. Have you decided which direction your gonna go for your rig? mykalbee I think I want to buy a full size V8 truck (for going up hill to the mountains) and some kind of pop up slide in camper. Maybe the 4wheel camper hawk shell model to stay affordable and super lightweight yet can shelter my whole family. I like the trailers but they are expensive and I hate backing them up and parking them are a pain in the ass.

Go to the overland expo website for yearly schedules. This one is next week. Next year it should be in May usually.

mykalbee I think I want to buy a full size V8 truck (for going up hill to the mountains) and some kind of pop up slide in camper. Maybe the 4wheel camper hawk shell model to stay affordable and super lightweight yet can shelter my whole family. I like the trailers but they are expensive and I hate backing them up and parking them are a pain in the ass.
