  • Hey guys I got this 2023 gv70 with transmission issue. This vehicle when the problem happen, the transmission will go to fail safe mode or limp home mode to prevent catastrophic damage to the transmission. It has a code p076800- solenoid D fault. I did resistance test and the concern solenoid has 0 ohms compared to the other solenoid has 4 ohms. I also did capture some current waveform, but for some reason the problem solenoid exhibit same waveform to the good known ones. So this videos isthe diagnosis part and the repair video will be coming soon. Thanks again for dropping by.

Hi! Thank you for the explanation and your videos, I subscribed! Once piece of advice, if you are willing to listen, instead of front probing the connector consider back probing . The connector housing should come apart to access the back part of the connector. When you said, under your breath "hold on the test probe is too big" it made me cringe as it may have damaged it. Just a suggestion based on my experience, but great video and diag approach!

Hello brother AWESOME information and approach i have a KIA sportage 2023 2.5LT with B167288 ACTIVE CODE and P053200 PENDING CODE the first code B16 is say APT[AC PRESSURE SENSOR] FAULT- CAN SIGNAL ACTIVE CODE and the other says P053200 ac refrigerant pressure sensor A circuit low any help or information would be appreciated as always thanks for the video.

Looks like you have issue with you ac pressure sensor, check if you have short to ground on the signal wire for the ac pressure sensor, when you unplug the ac pressure sensor what code will create? Does it show circuit high code? Second check current data for ac pressure sensor you should atleast get 5 volts when its unplug. If its close to zero when unplug theres a chance you have short to ground, double check service information if its 5 volt when unplug. Or you can always check other vehicle unplug ac pressure sensor ignition on, check signal value. And also make sure you got power, and good ground going to the sensor if signal wire is okay.

@@hyundaitech Hello thanks for the fast reply really appreciated this car came from other shop they calmed changed the sensor I know there is 5 V REF ON THE SENSOR as the pcm supply the sensor 5 V and Ground and checks the signal for pressure voltage up means pressure up and so on i will do my checks when i go back tomorrow to work and the cods have know are P053200 pressure sensor A circuit LOW is PENDING in the PCM and the AC controller[module] has B167288 active will let you now if need more help or not thanks. buy the way can i check the ground by putting my test light from B+ TO ground that PCM suppling the sensor and check the light to come on is this will be safe to not damage the PCM and do the same with signal wire what do you think thankyou.

@jgeorges3061 no I don't think that you will damage the pcm if you are checking the ground, and that's also good atleast you check the integrity of the ground. For the signal wire I would suggest to use Multimeter coz I think that is 5 volts same thing with the supply power for that sensor.
