FC United fan. My dad is from Bootle. And life long Everton Fan. Hope it all goes really well for everybody at Everton. My 1st Game ever was 1974/or 75 Burnley 1v1 Everton a mid week game Under the lights. My dad could never get me or my brother to follow the blues. My brother went to Old Trafford and myself to Oldham Athletic, who were near were we lived in Rochdale.
A result that was the start of a poor 5 game run in that cost us the title.
Toon fan here, love to see this, Everton’s fallen victim to a lot of crap and football politics over recent years. And after last season I thought they did exceptionally well to bounce back after the deduction and earned a lot of peoples respect and admiration. Think it would be great if Andy Bell and George Downing, with the backing Michael Dell, could acquire Everton.
Hopefully Farhad Moshiri can, as his last act as the owner of Everton, eventually make the right choice as to who will succeed him.
If Moshiri sells to a good buyer, his tenure has to be considered a success - in spite of everything

League founders. Longest serving top flight club in England. 9 League titles, more than the likes of Chelsea and Villa, who are massive clubs. 5 FA Cups. Could have arguably had a European title, had the behaviour of another English club not got us kicked out of Europe.
The only club with City in its name that could even be argued is City' and that is due to recent success on the field. 2 league titles before the oil money. Off the field our followings are night and day.
Every club goes through a barren spell and ours is ridiculously long but even taking that into account, you only have to listen to those within the game that speak about us as a traditionally big club.
Norwich, Coventry, Birmingham, Stoke, Leicester. None are anywhere near the size of Everton and it's silly to suggest that they are. They have 1 league title between the lot of them and we have 9.

I am a Forest Green Rovers supporter - But If the rumours are true, then ideally Bell & Downing are the right people to take over the operational side of Everton football club, given they are lifelong supporters of the club, they know the club's history and what their supporters' expectations are at the club. The fact they are willing to invest in the club. The future looks promising for Everton, if Moshiri gets it right in choosing his preferred bidder.

I said about a decade ago that a BIG 9 is on its way. It didn’t happen with Villa and Newcastle somehow getting relegated…
However now I feel that there is a chance this BIG 9 could happen (maybe a BIG 10 with West Ham?). Manchester United, Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester City, Tottenham, Aston Villa, Everton, Newcastle and maybe West Ham. I think eventually this might cause a split in the game (basically an expanded version of the Super League) with these clubs joining the giants of Spain, Germany, Italy, Spain as well as the biggest clubs from smaller leagues (think Ajax, Celtic, Rangers, PSV etc). 40 - 60 clubs splitting the game…
The great new stadium has to be a draw for any investors.....

There have been more bids since from other parties and I get this notion that Billions cant be spent on the club but and its a big BUT clubs can agree huge sponsorship deals which then injects money into the club. So for a competitive outlook its as important to look on stability being just as important to how much sponsorship can be attracted or brought along with the new owners because that buys players.
