    Way back in the 50’s when ask about the weather, my uncle would always say. “ Fair & warmer with a hell of a storm on the ocean.”
    I always think of him around hurricane season. 😂❤
    Loved your humor Uncle Art.

    LMAO. I've been living along the Gulf Coast for years, and I have yet to see a season where forecasters say, "nothing much to worry about this year, folks! It'll be slow!" No, every season has the potential to be catastrophic. All it takes is a single Cat 4 or 5 to hit your area, and you are done. The 1992 season was not "active" in terms of number of storms. But it included Andrew, and everyone knows how that turned out.

    You can get a cheap 100 watt glass solar panel and wire up a 12 volt DC car charger USB terminal to it and not worry about charging phones, flashlights, batteries and power bricks at your home for years as long as it`s daytime. These still supply about 8 watts even on very cloudy days and that`s plenty for a 5w light or fan and charging many devices.

    • @baneverything5580
      @baneverything5580 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@emilymorrison9510 We got a storm last June here in Louisiana that woke me up at just before 2am with thunder. Then I turned on my pocket sized AM/FM/NOAA radio and heard, "80 mph winds...take cover...mobile homes will be destroyed." I live in a camper. Then just after 2am I heard a roar to my southeast that sounded exactly like a tornado. Two minutes later...tornado warning...and the radio is naming my area. The high winds hit 45 minutes later but not as bad as they predicted but the power was out until after midnight the next night and the drought and heat emergency lasting until October started. Plus we were hit by two hurricanes in 2020 with almost three weeks with no power, cell phone signals, home phones or local radio.
