lot of us are not going to take all the intricate and pains taking time to play as skillful with most songs today it would be nice if rather than call out the chords note by note tell us what you're playing whether it's a Bb flat 9 Dbmin11 or give us the chord substitutions. many of us just want to play and make it sound good Im a chorder so tell me what chord you're using and I'll take it from there Sam Tolbert does that a lot we're accompanying people we're not the show and our praise is to the Lord right but thanks for all your hard work.
Gentleteddybear Kimble I have found, in teaching piano, that everyone is a bit different. Some people do know the chords very well as you point out, and some don't (they only know the notes on the piano). (Of course, some people need more help than others). This is a nice way to teach online, where the teacher and the student aren't actually interacting directly. The student also needs to use their ear for some of it, which is always part of Music (as well as memory---Music really 'exercises' the brain in a fun way). Nice to have this available.
