There are a lot of Level 0 variants of the enemies you encounter in the game like Blaze Master Lv. 0 for example. There are a lot of beta testing maps nd one of them has spikes on them: that's the only instance where you take damage from the environment. No unused weapons at all though. Maybe Julia had a mechanic where she could fail forging an I.D. since she has a text entry saying "Impossible. How could I fail?". But other than that, not much stuff went unused
