It's hard to believe this game (Suite macabre) runs on a Colecovision/MSX1. Imagine this game on sale for Colecovison in 1982/83. It would just blow peoples' minds.
Nice video! The PSG audio emulation of fMSX does not sound very good though; the high pitched notes in the Suite Macabre have a lot of aliasing making them sound kinda bad, e.g. between 1:30 and 1:38 it gains bell-ish overtones that aren’t supposed to be there. Maybe fMSX has a setting to increase PSG sampling quality, or else try using a better emulator like openMSX...
Thanks for the comment, I haven't noticed that myself. Have to look at those settings or also try that openMSX emulator you suggested. I'll probably make a new MSX video at the beginning of next year, so that the games released at the end of the year can also be included in the video. 🙂👍

The most was MOS 65XX or MOT 68XX !! Both never came to brasil as we known “comercial” product. only a few people clandestinely imported it… I never saw a comm64 beyond youtube videos !! Thnx so much to make live MSX !!

I did not know games were still churned out...great! C64 is growing but is a nice surprise that the MSX is still doing great!
