When I tried out for my high school team as a freshman I did exactly the same thing on the first tee in front of everyone trying out and the coach. The coach told me it counted and I had to use my three wood for the second shot. I then promptly swung and missed and joined the track team.
Come and play with our Senior League… mostly walkers, playing off the Senior Tees…. 3 and 1/2hr rounds… and one guy is 87! Get out of the buggy and walk. 😊

You should make like a short or video were you actually get paired up randomly with a super legit dude. Everyone in a while it turns out okay but usually blows
Depends on the course length and the person walking. If the holes are regularly 400 yards or it’s Jerry waddling down the fairway, no shot it’s faster. If it’s a 230 par 3 and you have someone walking at a good pace who doesn’t take a long preshot routine, sure.
@@LBrisk01 even if the holes are long, it’s still faster because the walker only has to go to their own ball and can be prepared to hit when it is their turn. Whereas the cart golfers have to go to the first golfer’s ball while the second golfer is forced to wait before they can even get a distance to the green.
@@SuperMJbros I guess it also depends on the skill of the people. If the cart people are hitting in similar spots/in the fairway vs having to zig zag back and forth for each others ball
@@LBrisk01 yeah I mean someone that is shooting 120+ walking is probably going to be slower than two scratch golfers in a cart but I shot a 91 the other day (I’m not very good) and was playing the course faster than the two people I played with in a cart together that both shot in the low 80s
