I’ve just put the hpi 3.0 engine in my ftx Zorro and it’s absolutely flys massive difference compared to the standard engine these ftx’s come with hpi do it best !

@@DutchMarkyMark I did some reading, found a post about the transmission from the RS4 that would fit the MT2 (which i believe is the original bullet model) but HPI doesnt recommend it as it replaces the slipper clutch and the gears are too high so it will be shifting constanstly, risking motor failure/trans failure. One user did it and he reported that it was useless. HPI recommends a 18SS motor swap instead but its the same size as whats in our trucks. Long story short, different engine is advised instead of a 2 speed gearbox. Maybe the new F3.5 from the Vorza/Trophy buggy will fit.

Already crashed it,weak suspension.
Ordered aluminium parts to rebuild it.
Wil keep this one ,like it is.
