(Quick-Pics) A Quick Visit To The Chicago, Ft. Wayne, & Eastern Railway’s Piqua Yard, Fort Wayne, IN

This video is way overdue, as these pictures were taken several months ago back in late May. The same day I was in Fort Wayne, IN to railfan the NS, I made a quick stop by the CF&E yard in town on the way home. I took some pictures of all the locomotives that were visible from accessible vantage points. There were a few Dash 8’s in there, but there were also a ton of the classic CFE standard cab EMD’s that ran the CF&E since the very beginning. It’s sad to see a lot of their EMD’s go, as that’s what I grew up seeing all my life when I lived a few blocks down from the line in Warsaw, IN. Those will always be my favorite units for that railway, but then again, I’m not opposed to their Dash 8’s either. Anyways, I’ll stop reminiscing now. Enjoy the video!
