300 baht for breakfast is little expensive, great infinity pool view and nice room though. I stayed at the the Haritage Hotel last month in Patong (had 2 pools and free breakfast) for around $80 USD per night. The cheapest place I booked in Patong was last October and for month I paid $203, everything included. Great review.
Never had the bottle to use a bum gun. The thought of the previous tenant wafting that thing near his rusty sheriff badge makes me shiver.
Love seating out the front of Yorkshire hotel and having a beer at that bar they got and watching all the people walk past all the girls heading into Bangla road for work...
Nice video Bfb is Puket a lot more expensive than pattaya for "company for the evening"?
In my opinion. Very much so.
@@BigFatBesty received and understood.
Quality video as usual besty keep them coming bud, when do u think u will be able to get back to thailand after this virus
Thanks Barry. I have no income at the moment and as my job is a sports events announcer the chances of getting back to work any time soon is none. So unfortunately I can't see me getting back to Thailand at all in 2020 and quite possibly not in 2021 either 😞😞
@@BigFatBesty hope everything goes well for you bud soon, work will come back soon mate, keep smiling 🙏🙏🙏👍👍👍
Nice one BFB . Looked really good hotel . I should have been in pattaya now . Oh well can look forward to going later in year hopefully. Cheers
How was the noise? Any construction next to it? Thanks
I stayed in 2017 and there were a lot of noisy indians. It was out of season though, you may not get them in-season.
At night time is very noisy with sound of the nightclubs.
First!
I’m thinking about going to Phuket and Pattaya next year. Is May/June a good time to go?
only if you like RAIN. Do your home work
It will be nice and hot but you will have some rain. You will still have a great time.
Thanks for showing us all that I like the layout of the place.
Continue to stay safe.

Really nice hotel and review, Tom. I went to Patong years ago and loved it. I think we are all just hoping the good times will return soon.
Thanks Steady Eddie. Seems like ages ago now. Sad times.
Looks nice mate
Thanks for posting, nice to see what Thailand was like before the late March/April dark times :(
Wow the price of breakfast is too rich for me - street food brunch for me instead.
Splash out man!
Hey big fella love your videos stay safe . Hello from bonnie Scotland 👍🏴
Cheers to Scotland and all the best!
Take it your back in the UK now?
Yeah, been back for a couple of months.
Nice rview Besty , with the money ive saved from my March/April cancelled trip to Thailand , I am getting a arse wand installed in my bathroom here in Blighty 555 no need to hoard bog roll , always look on the bright side ..
Oh God how I missed this place 😢
The hotel is aging badly. Needs revamp.
Stay safe and Lucky 🍀🇹🇭🙏
Is it guest friendly or do they try and charge ?
Guest friendly for one guest.
It depends, off peak season is guest friendly, peak season they do charge.
Really? I stayed end of Jan / start of Feb and there was no charge for one guest. Do they charge a fee around Xmas time?
Hi Besty, I was there in last August, was told by a staff usually they charge a joiner fee for stays between December to February. And I remembered I have seen on Tripadvisor and Bangkok112's video, mentioning about the fee as well. Would be good to check with the hotel via email before confirming any booking in December. ☺
Thanks Jimmy. That's very good into to have.
"the obligatory arse wand" LOL
You cant beat a stiff breeze lol Nice hotel.
How the times have changed. Now it's under lockdown, curfew, and all that.
Good review Tom but Phuket just doesn't do it for me in value terms.
Hope your doing well too bad about kev stay healthy
I know this is old footage by the lack of masks and you walking the street. There is nobody on the street now. NO BODY ! I hope you got back to your home before all the flight cancellations or you are a great swimmer. 😊
Yeah, this was a strange time. February 3rd I think. When it had just started and nobody knew quite what to do about it.

Absolutely. Kev will be greatly missed 😢
@@BigFatBesty (I think your viewers were expecting a few words about Kev on your 1st video after his passing)
Kev and I were friends. Not close friends, but friends nonetheless. On and off camera. There are certain things that I don't want to put on camera, and the loss of a friend is one of them. Not that I have any issues with vloggers that have shared tributes, I don't. It's just everybody deals with loss in their own way. Rest well Kev.
@@BigFatBesty Cool. I respect that.
