The Spotify deal was 3 years, Netflix is 5 years. I think Netflix is just letting the contract run out, because otherwise H&M can sue for wrongful termination. The Spotify deal was 3 years, Netflix is 5 years. I think Netflix is just letting the contract run out, because otherwise H&M can sue for wrongful termination. At this point Netflix has already given then their advance, they don't have to pay more unless they get a hit. I think Netflix did the math and realized it was cheaper to just wait out the contract.
