- Another attack on Titan video. Why are parallels an important writing trope? Well, Parallels show us that Eren and Historia have similar pasts and struggles. Essentially Historia is a supporting character who reinforces and compliments Eren’s own struggles and overcomes them, making the protagonist understand their own flaws so they can hopefully develop. You are far more likely to be able to understand a person who has shared the same struggles as you and see yourself in them.

what really sticks to me is the fact that isayama named historia as one of the essential characters alongside eren and armin. he really only mentioned eren, armin, and krista by names. so it's interesting how her character then got played out, she's actually necessary to the plot.

Personally, I like this more than Eren and Mikasa, but I was fine either way.
Historia proved to be much more than the seeming background character she appeared to be.
Brownsmagic, Saintitchief , and Odin talked about their relationship. Their parallels was so obvious and so crazy how people deny this. They were endgame. There’s no way Isayama just put in Historia’s pregnancy subplot for no reason. That’s Eren’s child, and I’ll die on that hill. It’s also goes against Zeke’s ideology about the Euthanasia plan. It just makes so much sense.
Yh the seeds are there for eh. Even in the au highschool caste historia likes eren and they have an interest dtnsnuc that links to the pregnancy in story. Not to mention the final exhibition eren and historia are basically a couple in it.

It’s so blatantly obvious that Eren and Historia are canon that you’d have to be willfully ignorant, or invaderzz, to not see that Eren being the father was changed at the last minute.
Leaving all the parallels aside, the fact that Eren would rather put his friends in the line of fire over endangering Historia makes this an open and shut case for me.
it isnt just "endagering historia". Eren would act this way for anyone in his friend group. Do you think that he would sacrifice mikasa, armin, or even Jean and Connie if one of them had royal blood? I mean, there is some merit in the issue in general since eren and historia really bonded in the 3rd season, but your argument isnt an argument. If it was supposed to happen and it was changed, it was changed way before the last chapters. The notion that historia simply got knocked up by the first guy that seemed interested in her so she wont be forced to eat zeke and give eren time seems much more likely the way the story eventually went
@@GiovanniGeoexcept when Zeke is talking to Eren about how Mikasa likes him, it flashes up a callback to when Historia asks Eren if it was ok for her to get pregnant, and then flashes forward to Eren cutting off his leg & gouging out his eye, it’s seems pretty clear that Isayama was implying that Historia had a child with Eren.

Also why would Historia fall in love with a guy who used to throw stones at her?
And whenever Historia & the farmer are on screen she never seems happy or content, she looks pissed off and sad all the time
It seems clear to me that this was the original plot that was abandoned because Isayama feared the backlash of Eren + Mikasa shippers even though their romance was never developed throughout the entire story, and only ever seemed one-sided
@@justadummy8076 Those were eren's missing memories which were shown to us viewers via flash back. They were in a different episode that the scene with zeke was. I dont know what cutting his leg and gouging his eye has to do. It also showed that he talked to yelena and floch on those scenes. Maybe he was in love with floch after all by your logic?

Havent observed the hooded guy. That is because she didn't, he just found someone she knew that he liked her and got pregnant so the police wont get their hands on her and make her eat zeke. That was her deal for helping eren. Of course she was sad, it is almost as if she knew that she was helping eren destroy the entire world by getting pregnant and living with a guy she probably doesn't like. Nowhere in the show is it implied that she fell in love with him.
If Eren saw the future, he might have wanted Historia to be there to guide the island rather than any way too exalted Jägerists that would just likely keep fighting the rest of the world. She had a role to play too in ensuring all their friends could live a good life. He couldn’t save Sascha but he tried to save the rest. Romantic love is not the only answer to why she decided to get pregnant. And it is not uncommon for kids to be dicks to the girls they like to get their attention.

Also the japenese kanji save eren used for historia was the exact same nicolo used when saying Sasha saved him. So even that had romantic connotation behind it. Those who know Simple as.

Historia lost her sister frieda, her lover freckle ymir, she wouldn't want to lose the only other person to mutually understand her too
EMs & EDs don’t understand that plotchads ship Eren & Historia for their countless amount of parallels, and the theme of "Surpassing the father" as Isayama said in the 2018 documentary when he talked about the final panel of a man carrying a baby and telling them that they're free.
Plotchads also ship EH because they have a sense of understanding, appreciation and connection where they recognize that they care for each other and don't want to watch the other suffer.
It's all about getting children out of the forest in the end, and not passing the problems on to the future generation.
So to have Eren and Historia bring a reincarnated
Ymir into a free world where she gets a second chance at life as a free person just feels right.
It still baffles me that people say the canon ending was the only way this story could've ended
@@Philthorn The only good thing about the ending was that it proved that Floch was right. And what baffles me as well is how people think that Armin is like Erwin.
Also it makes sense for Ymir to be reincarnated into their daughter narratively and symbolically:
- she gets the 2nd chance to live a life for herself, not somebody (a parallel to freckled Ymir's words in ch 40/42, if I recall correctly)
- eren freed her, historia had so many parallels with her and a friend's of hers name is ymir
- a lot of songs hint at this outcome (call of silence for instance)
- titans are gone as the goddess is not in paths anymore
- she's the first child to be born into the world without titans, the 2000-year war, free from the walls and being persecuted just because she was born an eldian
- ymir finally gets love and family she wanted so bad

- "That scenery" being Eren playing with Reborn Ymir as his daughter after a full-scale Rumbling and Eren showing this to Grisha and Historia would've explained a lot better why Grisha gave the Attack and Founding Titans to his son and Historia kept secret about the Rumbling plan and asked that question.

I think that Historia was the real reason Eren did the rumbling, because that was the only way to save Historia from being sacrificed and used as a weapon. I also think that Historias child was Erens, and I do not buy in to the story with the farmer. In the last scene in the anime, when Historia is preparing a meal, we can see 4 plates, so clearly she is not living alone with the just the farm boy. Maybe she is just paying for a room in another family's home. So I believe that Eren lied to Armin about "loving Mikasa" and "being an idiot" in their last conversation. Eren knew very well that he did the rumbling to save his true love, Historia and also his own unborn child! Think about it. But he had to lie about it so that no one would ever blame Historia and their common child, for being the reason for the rumbling.
This theory is more logical than erens sudden newfound love for mikasa 😂
The farmer will never be the father and Eren's daughter having brown eyes is just Carla's genes jumping over Eren and onto her granddaughter. This is the hill to die on.

Makes more sense than 139
While genetics are way more complicated than the Mendel’s laws we learn in school, brown eyes are dominant, so if Eren was carrying brown eyes genes, they would show. Very unlikely (not impossible but very harsh for a blue/green eyed person and a blue eyed one person to have a baby with brown eyes.

Like if eren only true mistake was his fear from his feelings towards Historia, eren always wanted freedom yet and ONLY out of habit and loneliness since losing his parents he fell for mikasa treachery, since ever she manipulated him into seeing her as a mother figure, protective and attached and she did everything to show him that historia is a no no, eren was put in a bubble of repetitions and habits and he directed those raging feelings for historia into the « freedom quest » mikaka was so good at manipulating him and giving him illusions that he complimented, looked at and got charmed by historia but kept denying his feelings and what happens when you deny your feelings? Anger and depression, since mikaka is there for Japanese fan service, the Asian figure bla bla bla, isayama write something and stated another thing 🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️
These two were the endgame and they still are. I believe a new ending will happen and these two will be together.

Eren is the Father in the anime timeline, and that's why he DOESN'T leave paradis' future to chance this time, because he has a child
Even if that was the case, at least it would make sense to not leave it to chance, it was pointless to say it in canon, cause in the end, that's exactly what he did. He allowed his friends to live their "long, happy lives", therefore leaving the future of paradis to chance, because he only cared about less than a dozen people surviving
There is a theory in anime timeline that it will be different ending. Is says Eldian people will abandon paradis island and start a new life in other places. To prevent actually happen in Manga where paradis was destroyed after the decades.

It's possible that the deal between the devil and Ymir also played out the same as Erne and Historia. In the end, Erne became the devil so Historia could live free along with his friends.
Yeah after researching and just paying attention to story details, there was way more chemistry and purpose between Eren x Historia than Eren x Mikasa. Mikasa always seemed more like a sister. Eren and Historia definitely would’ve made sense as an endgame couple. They really helped each other grow.
If eren and historia became canon, they DEFINITELY would be one of the best couples ever made in fiction

I’m pretty sure they aren’t related. Dina is married into the Yeager family but Eren isn’t related to her.
Dina is Zeke's mother and Grisha's first wife. Carla is Eren's mother, Grisha's second wife. Eren isn't royal blood, Zeke and Historia are royal blood. Eren isn't related to Historia.
I'm just here to laugh at the hopeful comments after the ending finally dropped. As someone who hated Historia purely from a character standpoint, the sounds of crying shippers is the gift that keeps on giving.
