I still have windows xp. My old hardrive is damaged and unrecoverable. The old vuze torrent is dead and will no longer seesd. So how can I put the old downloaded file from vuze library to another hardrive without re downloading. I don’t want to spend thousands on dats recovery that will not bring those files back. Please advise.

I have a fat 127GB download at 97.5% and it’s taking forever to finish up. I’m using BitTorrent 7.10.5 and I want to resume this download in uTorrent 3.5.5 without having to redownload or get duplicate copies how can I do that
I've found where the transmission torrent files are but when i try to add/move it over I get a permission error. I no longer have access to transmission (docker deleted itself) but I was wondering if there was a way to remove the permissions?

Watch video first, try this if you have too. >Selected all the torrents in uTorrent with CTRL+A or drag, >Right clicked any torrent and selected Copy Magnet Link, >Pasted ALL Magnet Links in the new client (qBittorrent) Everything was loaded, some of them were "Checking then Completed", others were Paused and didn't recognize they had been downloaded. But all worked fine somewhat. :s
can still work. my folder structure is just like yours. in qbittorrent, assign the downloads using the 'category' function. Each category can be assigned a different folder to put the downloaded files. After 'rechecking', qbittorrent will understand where to look for the files in your existing folder structure
You just add the torrent file again and tell mtorrent to create the same folder name where the downloaded is and to the same location so that it goes and reads again the downloaded ones in order to not get them again

I suppose you could go to the original website and redownload the .torrent file or magnet link. But once again, that would make sense if you only had a small number of downloads. if you were seeding more than 5 downloads, it would take way too much time

+i8awombat make sure the torrent has the path to the content, different clients can handle this differently, check that they are spelled the same. it does work and maybe it would be best to disable your Internet so they dont auto download, this would depend on the client. what clients are you using ?

You can move them all in the old client prior to migrating.

nevermind - fixed it. Now I have three files that are queued - 0% and I can't figure out whats wrong hahaha\

That did not work for me, they automatically started to download, not seed.
