  • This video shows how to install the DC/USB Charger electrical accessory into a Kawasaki Vulcan S.
    Before installing this DC Charger, verify that you have installed the Kawasaki Electrical Relay to enable the Electrical Accessories setup.
    Look for that video in my channel, it is quite easy to do.
    Enjoy.

    What year are you installing this usb charger on? Mine is a 2018 and the usb mount does not have that mounting bolt

    Just by curiosity, why do you have an extra gear selector display (with the red numbers)? 🤔 Doesn't your bike have which gear is selected in the main cluster?

      Hello. Thanks for the pointer. I thought I had one as well. However, it seems like for models 2016 and older, the gear indicator did not come with it. Actually, the Kawasaki extra gear indicator is quite expensive. So I decided to search for a OEM one and I found one in Amazon for 35€.

    nice job, one question, do you have relay preinstalled ?

    These wires do NOT have power going to them. You need to purchase and install a relay first. Just find a wire going to the ignition or headlights. It will be much simpler.

    What's the point of the relay? There are plenty of wires by the handlebars you can tap in to for the USB power.

    • @nathangarciamuro
      @nathangarciamuro  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      There are 3 pairs of wires you can tap in for the USB connector. Look at the video, I mentioned you can connect the USB power one of the 3 pairs.

      Hello I bought them at the kawasaki store in the web. You ca also go to a Kawasaki dealer to get it. I guess you can also look for them in Amazon or Aliexpress for a cheaper price.

      This will help you tremendously. That is why I installed it. I connect my iPhone, and my GPS since I purchased a Two USB port adaptor. But beware that you need the Kawasaki relay to power on all the accessories like this one. I have another video installing the relay, it is a peace of cake.

    Al tener la moto apagada, parece que el conector de corriente da una luz ambar. ¿Está gastando corriente sin tener el contacto puesto?

    • @nathangarciamuro
      @nathangarciamuro  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Which spare cable do you mean? The Vulcan S has 3 +- connectors to connect extra electrical devices. There’s an extra one underneath the seat.

      People like me come here looking for a tutorial. I don't expect clear 4k high def video as long as it's good enough to understand and see what he is doing. I find this tutorial very good and dummy proof because he went straight to the point step by step with no video cutting & editing.

    step 4 non funziona.....

    • @nathangarciamuro
      @nathangarciamuro  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Probably you got the wrong cables. There are 3 pairs of cables you can use. The pair I used came straight from the main connector shown in the video. The other thing is that you have to turn the battery on (with the key) to provide power. The other thing you can check is how use the DC voltmeter, I have it in lower scale (sensitive) so I can detect the voltage. But the most important thing is before you install the DC Charger/plug you need to install the DC Relay which I have shown in another video. Hopefully it helps.
