- This CUSTOM ZIPGUY figure is 3D printed at 190% scale.
This 3D Printable action figure is designed and optimized for FDM 3D printers. It is Poseable and has swappable parts. Default size at 100% is 1/12 scale (6.5" ++) But can be increased to 185% -190% scale, close to 1/6 scale.

I love toys and I love making them. It makes the kid inside me very happy!
A bit of a new format here. I need to be making more toys, instead of editing videos. Just going back to the simple Zipguy roots.
I don't have any of the stuff or skill to make this, so it possible to maybe get a slightly different commission of the figure in this video?

you could have did less editing and just put the toy together without the edits it would have been a lot more helpful than just jumping around. Great work on the models...

hey man i’m having problems with the black spider, i bought the right zip ties but i can’t slide it in the elbow i even tried to push the excess plastic but i can’t still push the zip tie trough the elbow i didn’t print it with supports what should i do i printed this part like 50 times i spent 3 hours on it but nothing i’m using cura mabey my settings are bad ? btw im making the size 1/12

There was only one issue I had my OCD wont let me unsee. You have a different color ziptie in each elbo joint, you can see when his arms are flat. Other then that this is awesome!
It is! I caught it while editing. But didn't want to reshoot for one small detail. It also bugged the hell out of me. Lol

awesome, man! congratulations. Do you think it would still work with ABS instead of PLA? and what about resin?
Will definitely work with ABS especially PETG. For resin, i would not recommend it, unless you have access to really tough resin and know how to compensate with the shrink factor.

😅I only have a few good parts using the Original that survived some user error failed prints at the moment. Makeshift cardboard enclosure seems to be helping, and the bed's level NOW; 🤞🙂laying out all the ZipTieGUY peices to see how long it takes to make 1, then I'll make the schedule to create more because, I need an army of'm‼

Hi, just wanted to say great work, your designs are pretty awesome. I just purchased the Zipguy Alpha and have a couple of questions. I scaled the figure to 140% for my first time printing it, now it seems that the head is fitting very loose, am I doing something wrong? Any tips to make the articulations smooth? FYI, I also bought the original Zipguy. Again great work
Hi! Thank you so much for your support. If the head snaps in but wobbles loose, you can put super glue around the ball peg. Let it dry completely first. Insert it back. Just repeat the process if its still loose.

Hello, I bought the full version, and before printing I wanted to ask if I have to scale all the pieces to 190% and if you have a list of the colors in which each piece goes...???
First of all, thank you very much for your support. Scaling up to 190% is optional. I just printed it this way so it is close to 1/6th scale. 1/12 scale is the default size at 100%, but If you want to make him a bit taller. you can scale it up to 105-115%. The head, neck. neck peg. collar and hands are printed in flesh PLA, Chest logo, pelvis. boots/ lower shins, hip ball and sockets are red PLA, Belt and cape logo are yellow, while all the rest should be printed in blue.

So yesterday I bought the file for the Sam Raimi Spider upgrade kit and while printing everything and planning out I noticed that my files I bought were missing the donut ankle joint. Is something wrong with my files or is there a scale that I can scale the torso donut to work?
