I think it has to do more about being careful of the younger viewers. They do have a number of fans who are underage, up to how young I’m not so sure. Cursing in Korea and other countries in broadcast are generally censored if not edited to keep it PG. it’s not about them being treated like an infant but more of them being careful of what to say, so as not to become a bad influence for young viewers.😊
also, I am an adult viewer and personally, I don't really like cuss words and would avoid a song that has tehm, they are an unclassy and unnessesary addition to add to a song imo i feel like they are "bad words" for a reason and a song can really be executed with the same feel without trespassing into foul lnagugae. so I apprecaite how kpop and oneus accomodates for me and hundreds more like me! :)
