I'm so confused by the box game. What counts as a letter and what doesn't?

The first player sets the trick (perform and land in the box - on the line counts), the 2nd player has to land that trick in the box. Then they take turns trying to set a different trick.
If they lose balance, but remain inside the box it counts. If they land on the tip of their toes and jump inside the box, it counts.
If they land or fall out of the box they fail. If they're partially in the box, they fail.
They take a letter if fail to repeat the other player's trick or if they refuse to do it.

Ive been so keen to do walltramping, my parkour days are way behind me but i remember practising on tramps before going to do flips on ground, just to get a feeling of how your body should move in the air so you don't hurt yourself.
