Katie Fiso 4-Star PG Ranked No. 34 Overall named 2022-23 MaxPreps Washington High School Girls Basketball Player of the Year.
The 6-foot junior PG led the Bulldogs to a 23-1 record
For the season, Fiso averaged over 22 points, 6 rebounds and 2 assists per game. She put up 26 points in a semifinal win over Mead and then tallied 13 points, 8 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 steals in a 58-49 win over Lake Washington in the final.
Garfield is 44-1 over the past two seasons with Fiso leading the way. She has earned scholarship offers from programs like Arizona, Cal, Oregon, Oklahoma, Montana State, Penn State, Ohio State, Alabama, Stanford, UW, UCLA, Washington State, Gonzaga, Harvard, USC, Utah State, Pepperdine, Oregon State and Boise State.
Her confidence is borne from a work ethic that won’t let her fail. Katie committed to Oregon Women's Basketball on 6.19.2023 who has landed the first member of its 2024 recruiting class.
