3:34 I've personally found it easier to just slope the rail in the first place, place the pot, place the boat and the minecart and then just power the rails. This way you don't need to push anything with pistons
6:35 the reason people used / use that design is because it works in versions before 1.20 (if I remember correctly) and the new one doesn't because they changed how sand falls
6:42 I mean no reason why you couldn't use powdered snow for the other design

Also it's possible to make multiple gravity blocks start falling in the same gt by updating them in a specific way.

the top of a skull works if its on a wall (for 8 gt) just make sure to place an end rod on its side above the boat to stop it from flying up a block
