I love being able to see your process with the ballerina, it's inspiring me! I have a book called "Black Ballerinas: My Journey to Our Legacy" By Misty Copeland & (beautifully) Illustrated by Salena Barnes. It's sitting on my desk staring at me lol. I'd love to try to paint one of the ballerinas in the book as a reference and see how it turns out, but I've been too scared to start! This is my sign to dive in and just try.
I have THE hardest time with composition and planning so I default to painting whatever comes to mind…do you have any tips for someone like me who wants to get better at painting more realistically like you do? I would appreciate ANY tips you have, I feel so lost and overwhelmed when I see others plan and paint. I have no idea where to start 😅
@@ArtHearts The best advice I can give is to use a reference photo and try to copy what you see. Also drawing from life is very good for training your eye. You can start with just drawing things in your environment.
Thanks for sharing. I'm glad your video popped up on my page.
@@rosemaryugboajah4655 You’re welcome! It sounds like the algorithm is doing it’s job 😊

@@ArtHearts Yes, dive in! I love ballerinas. The one I painted is based on a Misty Copeland performance.
