    I'm on 4th day of battery life on this watch and battery % is 54 which is great. I turned off GPS wifi Bluetooth and LTE. Plus other things from this video. LTE GPS wifi and Bluetooth use a lot of battery and I put flight mode on too.
    My Huawei watch ultimate lasts 8 days with sleep weather heart rate etc.
    Galaxy watch ultra is a very nice looking watch and I just wished it had better battery life. Orange version I got and it looks stylish.

    If you use Assistant, turning off the "OK, Google" wake word makes a huge difference because the microphone isn’t always listening. I just use long press on the Home button to activate Assistant.

    • @DanaSciandra
      @DanaSciandra 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      @specijalac7 Happy to help! On the watch itself, go to Settings -> Google -> Assistant, and you'll see an option to turn off "Hey, Google." This stops the microphone from constantly listening for the wake word and saves a ton of battery. I went from 20% or more down to about 1%. I just mapped Assistant to my home button (long press).

    While I agree with MOST of what you are saying, I'm completely in disagreement with "a watch should always show time." In my opinion, my watch should ONLY show time when I look at it. It's moronic to waste battery life, by showing time when I'm not looking at it. So I also get over three days of battery life, but I don't have to turn off nearly as much as you do. I still have tons of things on my screen, to give me information at a glance, and the ONLY things I turned off are AOD and some of the notifications from apps I don't need to be notified from. THat's it. And great battery life.

    • @Micah-Woods
      @Micah-Woods  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      It’s not moronic to show time all the time. That’s what traditional watches do. It’s simply preference. Appreciate you sharing otherwise! 😌

    I found a battery drainer. Cellular data!!! A mobile plan with the watch when it's solo drawing the power. I use my watch only for music and if I get messeges or phone calls I want them to show up. But it just dies before my 4th hour of work!??!?!
