- In this episode, we continue landscaping around our patio , have fun with the dogs and cook the most delicious meat. Follow our journey as we build our homestead from ground up by subscribing and sharing with like minded people.
How we got here:
We are Mackenzie and Amara and 2years ago we decided to leave the city life behind , moved into the Kenyan savannah bushlands, built an tiny Aframe house and are embarking on a journey to live an off-grid, self sustaining lifestyle. Join us as we do it all from making our bathroom from scratch, to finishing our AFRAME tiny, to gardening and taking care of our dogs and chicken!

I am very happy for you, as you heard the ancestral awakening call and followed the voice that led you to live in the bush, away from the hustles , bustles , and chaos of the cities.
Living away from neighbours, without anyone banging furniture or playing loud music above your apartment or flat, and spending day after day being one with nature, is such a great dream for many of us.
I am leaving Europe and going back to Malawi after watching your video.

In actual fact, if only we Africans did not follow the narratives of the Wazungus, and give them the audience about the propaganda of glorifying everything that they are and have, and subsequently lost everything that we are and have been left with by our forebears,we all would have been living off the grid, do some organic farming and life off the land.
Considering all the abundance of Africa, the vast land, natural resources, heritage and cultural values,wildlife and beautiful people. We would have been a great nation

Always Watching from England. Very well presented, real, simple and to the point. Easy to watch and relate. The inspiration is at another level. Very challenging to many people who have access to land which they regard unproductive and run away to stay in urban pig-stay ghettos or wallow in poverty disregarding the asset is the land they have. Kenya’s most land is regarded and arid or semi arid. But this has shown every inch is liveable with ingenuity! Great partnership. I will pursue such lifestyle if I get a like minded partner😂😂👋🏿👋🏿👋🏿👋🏿
