Robot. It’s always good to see what options are available. Thanks for showing the weight differences and mentioning the converter. I personally do not want to substitute something that pollutes more for a 5% gain.

It definitely has a better note than the stock exhaust. Wouldn't want anything loud on a scooter anyhow. I'm not trying to be Rossi over here and have dropped knees on a scooter. Just something with a bit more personality and a cleaner look
Robot you guys need to get the Zard exhaust it's the most stock looking out of them all.
One wonders, does the 'new' small carbon fibre heat shield fit the older model of the Akrapovic exhaust ~2017. Looks like the craps would fit on the older header pipe.

My Super solid (HEAVY) GPR Vintalogy has lasted 4 1/2 yrs, My Super light carbon muffler 1 yr with one drop and Cracked and kept cracking. RIP.
Can you remove the DB killer & test the sound (before & after) ? Really need it !!!

I own the previous gen in “natural” on my 2018 titanium gts super sport with the baffle in, and it’s hands down the best single go-to upgrade option for these bikes. What a shame these updated versions lose a little db and the baffle options. And don’t get me started about the weight increase. Run, don’t walk, to your digital device of choice and put FAB3 to work sending you one of the remaining earlier generation exhausts.
This video is designer approved-this new pipe, not so much.

The DB killer on the new design is not removable. On the older version, remove the set screw under the rubber plug, then you can take a small slide hammer or similar and extract it. Hope that helps.

@@VespaMotorsport SIP has come up with a new DB Killer for the 2020 Akrapovic exhaust, and shows a photo where the screw can be reached by drilling a hole through the carbon. Would you be interested in checking it out, make a test or even a tutorial?

Think exausts look better if they're slightly upswep,(then they do horizontal)
Agreed. Although the entire motor swings up on the Vespas, so when you put some weight on it, it does point upwards a bit. They design it like this so there's maximum travel and the exhaust doesn't hit the body panels when going over large bumps.
I have 1 questions, been asking a lot from others too. Does change to aftermarket exhaust will damage the engine?
Most high end aftermarket exhaust have been specifically designed for the engine and will only increase the performance a small amount. Not enough to be concerned about. When you start adding internal engine components such as cylinder kits and transmission mods, is when you need to start keeping an eye on things. Hope this helps...

Looks like stock exhaust is better made, better tune for low to mid power which is scooter need.

Hi I just install it not long ago, one question why my primavera feel more sluggish and it reduce my top speed on motorway? Do I need to reset the ecu? Mine was 2019 primavera 150, also the acceleration seems slower to get to top speed and I feel more vibration not as comfort as the original
Normally, you should MAP the ECU again, adjust to the new configuration. Any changes regard to the stock parts will affect factory configuration, especially air Filter and exhaust.
Also that Akra in the video is for GTS 300, not sure if it works for Primavera.
I took the akra which fits the primavera, the technician say there were no mapping needed, I ask him test my bike, he say yes it was vibrating, but he can’t confirm the lost of power, end up no solution to it and told me to add other mods.... 😓
You need reduce weight on the rollers after the exhaust hao your mechanical doesn't noou that
Got some long drill bits would fix those two little pipes that are blocked off, love the look, hate the quietness of it
It's hard to break the AKRO povik vs. a CROP o vitch habit, isn't it? lol. I used to work with someone who had that last name. He'd get frustrated at people who pronounced it AKRO povik.
"A-Krap-Ovich" vs "Akra-Po-Vik" is the same as "Robot" vs "Robert"...in each case one is wrong ;)
As an European I can say that at least the "-ovich" is right. Call Zlatan once Ibrahim-"Ovik" and he will punch you right in the face. It's Ibrahimovich too!

We haven't attempted it yet. They sure didn't make it easy on this updated version. Don't think they intended it to be removable, the previous one just had a set screw.
@@VespaMotorsport Ok. I will give it a try, I'm getting mine next week. I think, based on how the replacement db-killer looks like, there is a screw under the carbon cover. Just like with the previous (Euro 4) version.
Vespa Motorsport got the DB killer out. Amazing sound. Much better that the old model!

I didn´t recognize that akra brings a new pipe. Now I understand why the previous version is nearby everywhere not available to buy. The new version simply sux. Looks very bad, it does not match to the vespa HPE design. I will go for the previous pipe. It wont be easy to find one over europe.
Why bother for the small gains
They do f all in speed, , only a sound,pm tuning pip is the only one that works but does not look that good, it is cheeper, don't get 5% on this
Is crap.. the form and model...it looks so heavy
