i really fucking love Jay Park. he supports him and encourages him but he doesn't sugarcoat the future, he said that numbers of views, fans on tours and physical sales are not going to be the same and that a lot of things are going to change, he's being realistic and stating things that many people are ignoring but that are definitily going to make an impact on jayb. that's exactly what a true leader does

I feel like many people do not believe in the fact that GOT7 will be able to continue as a group. But the fact that Jay Park mentions that Jay B should keep up with the group activities if he wants to is something that is really appreciated by their fans, because the fans are still there, waiting patiently for them. Having a CEO not opposed to that is a relief.
I think we should all believe that one day the group will get back it's just a time thing, may be not now but in the future, I'm sure we'll get group content. You see even 2PM are having a comeback after many years !
He already kinda leaked they will have an album every year and already working on the one for this one causing Mark to GO OFF on JB(jokingly btw)

many people were doubting them but the moment got7 released Encore music video just A MONTH after leaving their ex-company, they were already breaking stereotypes and the 7 year curse here and there. If they can easily do that much just a month after ending the contract, they are definitely in it to comeback as a group with albums in the future like jay b said, each member are trying to produce 1 song each month for their group comeback. THAT, plus their solo acts are just a lot to handle. If that isnt determination and love for the group, idk what is. Not to mention, when they release encore, legit all of the members' respective new labels + warner music group were hyping and supporting them too

I'm still not over how Jay brought up Jaebeom's work with ØFFSHORE and his performances in SOAP himself. After years of being in ex-company and being forced to actin like that side of his art didn't exist, it's so heartwarming to see him being supported for every version of his musicality.

Tbh I dont really know which fandom is really behind all that toxic energy directed towards Jay Park on Twitter or if it is just one fandom to begin with but from someone who was a huge K-Pop fan durign the 2nd gen and transioning over to KRnB and KHip Hop reading all those tweets and the various smaller and bigger scandals that happened it was really hard for me because I do get the K-Pop mentality but I also know Jay and his mentality so it was very difficult to read knowing that Jay is always putting up for the people around him, his family, his friends, his employees and his fans. I just needed to say that.

We're used to him giving clipped and short responses (as noted by the Dazed interviewer) but others might not know that it's how he speaks with everyone on camera, he gives thoughtful responses and doesn't say things just for the sake of saying them. His off camera personality too is admired by his colleagues and the staff who work with him always. Every other day someone writes an Instagram post about having worked with him and gained a new perspective on how humble and open an idol can be while staying respectful. This is how you know you've got a genuine person. I'm glad JAY respects JAYB as much as JAYB respects him. I keep coming back to this interview just to see that.

The way Jay Park speaks to him is really really warming my heart. Jay B is not the kind of person who get along and opens to others easily but the way Park doesn't pressure him and even (if you noticed) often talked by helping Jay B - seriously I am so happy. He is an amazing boss and I am sure he will do his best to help Jay B.
Got7 is one of the only groups I see where each member still manages to shine solo and have their personal projects that reflect them as individuals. Most groups that leave their company have maybe one or two stand outs, and the rest kinda just fades away. The fact that two artists signed under Jay Park also speaks quite a lot of volume. Imo to sign under jay park u really have to be an artist, not just a celeb. Jackson is also doing well as his own ceo, Bambam in Thailand and with Sunni, Mark with his streams and own song too, Jinyoung in acting and Youngjae as a soloist and also in Netflix’s new show

What I love the most about this conversation is when Jay Park said that he would like his artists to do what they want to do and not worry about numbers because if his artists are happy, it influences the people around them.
Jay really is the best CEO there is. He really cares about the well being of his artists and only wants what's best for them. He treats them like family and is willing to go out of his way to help them whenever they need it.

One of the things that I respect the most about Jay Park is the fact that during one of his interviews (don't remember which one), he said that one of the reason why he grinds so hard is to use that influence to help other artists in need. That's why he does so many collabs and featurings.

This is such a genuine interview...we need more people like jay park in this music industry who cares for his people so much...each and every advice was so beautiful.
Same name, same profession, same ex-company, both talented af, the only difference:
Jay Park was "lucky" enough to be "expelled" early, he had to learn it the hard way to become an artist (from most hated idol to rolemodel). He finally could be himself, do the music that he wanted to and experience new music styles, people finally saw the changes he brought to the KPop/KHipHop industry. AOMG definitely is a revolutionary company.
Jay B in the other hand, was kept in a group for ages, his work was continuously declined, his efforts were simply not appreciated, his talent was wasted, the members were all eager to put out new stuff, solo or in group, some of them had the chance to do solo work, but JB was just pushed aside. Now that he is free and mentored by Jay Park, I believe we will finally see who JB is.
Ugh... my heart is still aching about how Jay Park was treated back then, but look at him now, a great CEO (one of the best! Psy is amazing too)
