      To secure a stable future, focus on developing in-demand skills, saving 10-20% of your income, and continuously investing in yourself. Track your expenses, avoid unnecessary debt, and explore side hustles or freelancing for extra income. Delay marriage until you're financially stable, and consider low-cost investments. Stay consistent, adaptable, and always look for ways to improve.

      You're absolutely right to wonder! It's frustrating to know that solutions exist but see little action toward implementation. The suggested solutions in video are doable but are not that much significant or impactful in scope.
    We need to move towards wholesale based system instead of currently applicable unit slab system which makes electricity expensive with increased consumption hence the demand for electricity never increases.
    Please make a whole video dedicated on wholesale based system where increased consumption leads to lesser per unit price which will result in higher consumption and lesser losses caused by electricity theft.

    • @PakistanAndCounting
      @PakistanAndCounting  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thank you for sharing your thoughts! You’re absolutely right that transitioning to a wholesale-based system could be a game-changer for Pakistan’s energy sector. A system where increased consumption lowers per-unit costs could encourage demand growth while addressing electricity theft and inefficiencies. We’ll definitely consider creating a dedicated video to explore this idea in detail. Stay tuned!

    • @PakistanAndCounting
      @PakistanAndCounting  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Switching from LIBOR to SHIBOR is theoretically possible, but it would require renegotiation of sovereign contracts, which can be complex and depend on mutual agreement between parties. These contracts often have fixed terms, and altering them involves diplomatic and financial considerations. It's a valid question to explore further in the context of Pakistan's energy financing.

    I really appreciate the effort, Mr. Junaid, you and your team have put in. I have a question: I’ve read that due to global warming, coal-based power generation is being discouraged, and countries will have to pay a carbon tax for producing carbon emissions. Nuclear power does offer a reliable and low-emission solution to our energy challenges. It can help reduce dependency on imported fuels and provide consistent base load generation. However, scaling up nuclear energy also requires significant investment, safety measures, and time for implementation. A balanced mix of nuclear, renewables, and efficiency improvements might be the way forward.

    • @PakistanAndCounting
      @PakistanAndCounting  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      You're absolutely right-deregulating the electricity sector and encouraging competition can benefit consumers through better pricing and services. However, it would also require strong regulatory frameworks to ensure fair practices and protect consumers from monopolies or exploitation.

  • @ShadabKhan-g4w

    If the government bounds all fuel stations to have charging stations as well. People will start buying electric cars. Government should also reduce taxes on electric cars. That way we can increase electricity consumption and reduce oil imports.

    • @PakistanAndCounting
      @PakistanAndCounting  หลายเดือนก่อน

      That's a solid suggestion. Mandating fuel stations to install charging stations and reducing taxes on electric cars could encourage EV adoption, leading to higher electricity consumption and lower oil imports. However, it would also require significant investment in charging infrastructure and stable electricity supply to ensure long-term success.

    I disagree with Income Tax point as the tax collected through the Electric Bill is wiitholding Tax which can easily be claimed against Yearly Income Tax liability- Removing this would result in drop in witholding

    • @PakistanAndCounting
      @PakistanAndCounting  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Thank you for sharing your perspective. You’re absolutely right that the tax collected through electricity bills is withholding tax, which can be adjusted against yearly income tax liability. However, the challenge lies in the complexity for consumers to claim it back, often resulting in unutilized tax credits. Removing it may streamline billing for many, but your point on the potential drop in withholding revenue is valid and worth further discussion.

    Why do they generate more electricity than needed if it’s not possible to generate less or only as much as required? Instead, they could use the surplus energy to build new infrastructure or projects that utilize it effectively. This way, the extra energy could generate revenue, reducing the need to rely on money from people. Please make a video on this.

    • @PakistanAndCounting

    unfortune i am this time ..unable to understand the terminology of respective spectra

    • @PakistanAndCounting
      @PakistanAndCounting  15 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      No worries! It sounds like you're referring to the technical terminology related to energy, such as "capacity payments" and "local resources" like gas and coal in the context of power generation. Let me break it down a bit:
      Capacity payments: These are payments made to power plants to ensure that they are available to produce electricity, even if they aren’t actively generating at all times. It's a way to secure backup power for when demand spikes, but it can be costly.
      Local resources: Refers to using energy sources that are available within the country, like natural gas in Punjab and coal in Sindh. This can help lower costs because it reduces reliance on imported fuel, which is often more expensive.
      By focusing on using local energy sources, we can cut down on costs, both in terms of fuel and reducing the need for capacity payments. Does that make things a bit clearer?

    I disagree with T&D losses. desco inability to control is one point but if we will not adjust it will increase our circular debt. It should be 50-50 . So both are accountable

    • @PakistanAndCounting
      @PakistanAndCounting  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thank you for sharing your perspective. You're absolutely right that addressing T&D losses requires shared accountability. While DISCOs must improve efficiency, consumers also play a role in reducing theft and misuse. A balanced 50-50 approach could help control circular debt while driving mutual accountability.

      Thank you for sharing your thoughts. It's true that increasing electricity consumption could lead to changes in petrol prices as well, but the aim of Step 1 is to create a balanced energy mix that reduces reliance on imports while encouraging renewable energy adoption. We appreciate your perspective and welcome more insights!

    Income Tax deduction is right... Because 3million or less are registered with FBR and Filers are way lesser..
    so they are collecting it right from everybody...
    But if you file your tax, it refunds back to the person... So if everybody file the tax they can get back this income tax... i don't know who made this point in your video without research...

      Thank you for your feedback. You raise a valid point about the low number of registered filers with FBR and how withholding tax ensures broader collection. However, many consumers face challenges in claiming refunds due to lack of awareness or procedural difficulties. The point made in the video aimed to highlight the need for a more efficient system, but we appreciate your perspective and will ensure better clarity and research in future discussions.

    Convert water into burnable gas with out cost just do my method that I do in my childhood but I have not know science 🧪 behind

      Your idea sounds intriguing, and it seems like you're referring to a form of water electrolysis or a similar concept where water is split into hydrogen and oxygen, which can be used as fuel. While it’s a fascinating idea, converting water into burnable gas (like hydrogen) typically requires energy input, and the efficiency of the process depends on the method used.
      If you have a unique approach or method, exploring the science behind it with proper research and experimentation could reveal exciting possibilities. Feel free to share more details or reach out to experts in renewable energy and hydrogen technology to refine and test your method!
