Coach Norvell is awesome. Dude knows how to build a program and a culture for success.
ESecpn sucks. 1999 FSU literally went wire to wire No.1 and went undefeated and won the Natty. Yet they say 2013 and 2023 are the only undefeated seasons. What a clown show that network is. 1996 and 2014 were also undefeated regular seasons. FSU has five undefeated regular seasons not 2. Do better man.
FSU's battle cry for 2024 will be: LEAVE NO DOUBT! Score as often as possible and shut down the opponent as often as poss!
And hope that Alabama has at least four losses which is what it will take to keep them out of the playoffs.

with expansion, games don’t have major playoff implications anymore as the feeling of nervousness, stress, and anxiety boiling over as you have to go 1-0 every week and one loss would put you out the playoffs unless you win your conference to have a fighting chance.
as for FSU, they lost all their big boys and grown ups, having reloaded fully like a Georgia Ohio State or Texas did, still have questions about their depth. the ACC is top heavy enough to go back to the title game, depending on if Clemson crumbles like last year and a random ACC team goes on a run
I can agree with the sentiment that the regular season will have less meaningful games in the immediate future. That will change if they make all playoff games home games through the semis starting in 2026 or whenever/if they.change it.
With all due respect to those who hold the regular season in such high regard, do you really sit around every now and then and reminisce " hey, remember that week 6 game back in 2011? What an awesome game".
People tend to celebrate and reminisce over championships won, not a random regular season game.

i thought it would dissipate but i'm equally as pissed off today as i was 7 months ago when greg mcelroy inexplicably did his 180 degree turn and claimed FSU didn't earn a spot in the playoffs.... after, spending months singing the opposite tune. norvell is a much better guy than me because i would have crucified greg. especially since the organization he belongs to KNEW FSU was getting snubbed and they set up a camera in the lockerroom to catch the reaction of mike and his players. total dirtball move from a dirtball organization.
