This is a very familiar sight for me as I was born and raised in Hackett's Cove which is just a few kilometers from Peggy's Cove. I went to school with the Peggy's Cove kids and I often drove there on my bicycle in the summertime. I remember going there on my three-speed bicycle and my legs felt like they were turning to rubber as I tried to peddle my way up some of those hills. I live out west now but I have fond memories of those times. Thank you for the video!
The Peggy's Cove loop is one of my favourite cycle routes as well. I don't do it that often though since it takes about 4 hours to go from Dartmouth through Tantallon, down to Peggy's, and back up past Hatchett Lake. But it's worth it if you have the time.

Last night on the video Jim with Woody I researched Swiss Air Flight 111 I never knew about it such a tragedy, I’m glad there is a memorial to the 229 lost souls. Angie you are one hardy lady but you look beautiful with the wind blowing and I’m sure that coat Jim got you is warm
My Godfather was Keeper of the Northern Lights, here in the UK. The lights are now all automated, but the need for them remains. Thanks to all who work on the sea for our benefit.

wonderful video of Peggy's Cove, we were there a week before that horrid Hurricane that hit you guys. A fabulous restaurant and shop there.. had a wonderful lobster roll! And didnt go near the black rocks! lol

In our many trips to Nova Scotia and PEI, we never made it to Peggy’s Cove. I can see we missed out on a real treat! Thank you for sharing your video of this beautiful place with us. Back in those days.....1960's...in Canada, believe it or not it was standard for new moms to stay in hospital for one week after general deliveries. My mom loved it! I am certain my dad was pounding suds at Oktoberfest during that week.🍺
