I didn’t have the car much longer so i couldn’t tell you much based of my personal experience. my moms car also has an n55 that’s at about 100k and only major things that have been needed to be done we’re the injectors because she has a single leaky injector and a differential bushing replacement.
Hey, do you know how many miles you had on the car at this time? I haven't heard much about n55 turbo reliability so I assumed it was better than the n54. I was a bit surprised to see that it was having an issue. I guess it would make sense if it were higher mileage though?
i didn’t go out but i had a feeling it was not operating at optimal efficiency. i also had the got the car at 15k miles and being 17 years old i used to drive the car pretty hard everyday.
@@PrimusAutowerks Quick Question: I got a 135i too and im thinking of going straight pipe for the same reason as yours, Sound lol. BUT! Does the full straight pipe give an irritating deep "Hoooo" Sound inside the car when you cruising?
@@laeeqallie To be honest I'm so used to it since I've had this set-up for over 2 years. I also listen to my music decently loud but I can also drive with no music and not get annoyed. Do you have dct or auto because in 7th gear it'll drone at low rpms on the dct
@@PrimusAutowerks ive got the n54 Auto. I'll take your word for it and just try it out. I've honestly always dreamed about being pulled over by the cops every 5 seconds for being too loud so i might as well just go for it lol
@@laeeqallie hahaha, we have full exhaust videos on the channel for both my 135i and Dante's 335i which is an n54 so that should give you a better idea on how it will sound since my car is n55. I've noticed that n54 is a bit louder.

I feel like my car doesn't really drone much but I could just be used to it lol but it shouldn't drone much unless at low rpms.
